You have accepted that He is the Christ, so now what?

We are to try to love others the way he loves us, which is more than he loved himself, The new command.

Which would be no problem at all if you could just understand who you are!

God made a covenant with us - a legal agreement, stamped in blood by Jesus Himself.
It started with Abraham and was completed when Jesus, dying on the cross said, "It is finished."

Now understand this-
This covenant is not just a nice idea, it is a LEGAL DOCUMENT, between us and the Father thru the blood of Jesus.
God is bound by this covenant, as we are to Him when we accept Jesus as our Savior.
That's what scripture says.
Therefore, we are now legal heirs, just as Jesus is, and His authority now becomes our authority.

John 14: 11-13
11Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. 12I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.

So.......was Jesus lying?????

Of course not, we have God living in us, but we do not totally comprehend what this means. You might want to take it easy on the, we are God bit, how about we are Gods children Very Happy

Laughing
Why take it easy?? I'm not making it up, that's what scripture says!

But see, now do you understand Jesus statement -
If you had the faith the size of a mustard seed, you could move mountains!

See, once we realize who we are, we still refuse to believe it. We don't have even mustard seed sized faith that what God has revealed to us is true!

(and you just proved that by your post to me, didn't you?)

But do not be discouraged. This GOOD NEWS is so powerful, it takes a lot of faith to comprehend.

I'm giving you thirty minutes to enjoy the "encouragement", then I am challenging you to claim your birthright.

Can you do it?
