Aha, here is the topic I was trying to find-

Quote:
SS:Because God made the statement:

20:20 And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I [am] the LORD your God.

Satan will attack this, the most !!!

Please
do not tell me that you think going to church on Sunday is the Mark of the Beast!

If I go to church on Sunday, or do not go at all for that matter, in your opinion, would you say that I am headed for hell? based on that alone?

Sin, prevents that from happening.

Yes, and No.
I'm against material gain, as some advocate it as a Christians' rights.

BUT I do believe in this Bible verses.....
1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What ? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own ?
6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in [them]; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Quote:

Matthew 10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
The 'cross' was an intrument of torture in those days.

The Christians life is to deny themselves the pleasures of this world's etertainments...to the service of serving other people needs, before ones own.

Quote:

Mark 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
I repeat......The Christians life is to deny themselves the pleasures of this world's etertainments...to the service of serving other people needs, before ones own.

2 Chron 25:1-3 1Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.

2And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.

3Now it came to pass, when the kingdom was established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the king his father.

Romans 6....deals with Grace, as the power from God to overcome and stop any person from committing known sin.

Romans 7 ....deals with the UNconverted man, wanting to become converted ( or saved).

And I'd like to add chapter 8 of Romans......which deals with the person who experiences the power of God unto Salvation.

This person has gained the Victory over sinful practices and habits, thru the power of God.

Romans 6 and 7 and eight and whichever Letter of Paul's in whole, deals with nothing but the grace of God, but probably Romans 7 more than any other chapter written by him.

If you cannot discern Romans 7 presupposes and treats on the regenerated believer in Christ, you have not started yet to open your eyes to the grace of God. Of course, no one is able to do it of himself; like puppies the children of God must grow up a little before their eyes may properly see.

The only way to understand Romans 7 is meant for the child of God, is to imagine yourself being spoken of in it.

Explain to me "the Law of sin and death", and explain to yourself, "the Law of sin and death".

Who is it who "spoke and it was": "The soul that sins shall die"; "The day that you eat thereof, you shall surely die"; "Death is the wages of sin". "The Power of sin ... is ..."? "The Law". And the Power of the Law is ? ... God!

Unless God to a man is the Law to that man, he is dead in his sins. As soon as God to a man is the Law to that man, Christ has redeemed him of death and sin.

What the unknowledgeable despises for being The Law of sin and death, the knowledgeable in the mystery of Godliness, praises his greatest consolation and only hope.
