First year anniversary

Well folks, I've been here for one full year. Wow.

I first started here one year ago after my wife suggested that I was living in a bubble. She told me that I was only interacting with people who shared my world view and that it would be a good learning experience for me to know more about those who interpret Christianity differently than I.

Well, she was right.

I came here not to preach, but to learn. I may have expressed many opinions, but I have tried to do so in the hopes of finding common ground, and not to beat others over the head with my beliefs. Those who have disagreed with me have generally not changed my opinion as much as they might have liked (and vice versa). Nevertheless, I have learned much from them. Mostly I have learned not to stereotype the various forms of Christianity, theism and atheism that I have found here.

So a heart-felt thank you to all of you, and especially to those of you who felt free to differ with me on many many issues here. God bless you all.
