Well if you think about it logically, the central feture of Christianity is jesus dying on the cross, and rising again. The cross is the symbol of Christianity. So what would be the symbol if he would have died of natural causes. he would not have 'died for our sins'.
Also, if Jesus had not risen from the dead, everyone who hadn't believed him would have been able to squash the belief very fast. This is a mirical thta cannot be explained at all. Unless any of you have a logical explanation for how someone can rise from the dead??
Everything has a foundation, without this, what would be there? Could any of you imagen Christianity without Jesus, or the bible saying 'Jesus died in his sleep at the age of 42'. It wouldn't be the same.

Christ as God made the ULTIMATE Sacrifice for mankind.
He could have let Adam & Eve die then and there
BUT, He was willing to die the eternal death in their place.
The Absolute expression of Love ! |

God revealed his LOVE to us in this:
That while we were yet sinners, Christ died for US!
Good call.
I believe, however, that it is a proven Biblical fact that God calls us to be Holy, separated from worldliness, perfect, sanctified, Loving and servants of all who need.
I think that in this way we follow Christ's example. After all, by taking up HIS cross he demonstrated the greatest LOVE ever... he not only prayed for those who opposed him, he died for them.
BUT: HE calls EACH of us to also deny ourselves, pick up our crosses daily and follow Him. This is how we demonstrate our Love for Him.
