I could Google him up, nah!, and I'm not going to wade through nine pages. Besides, it's nap time for us old folks. |
Actually, it's ten pages now, but I can give you a pretty short summary:
Kent Hovind is (or was) one of the most prominent Young Earth Creationists in the United States. He's basically a con man and scam artist, who tries to promote the idea that the Earth is only 6000 years old or so.
He went out and got himself fake degrees from fake universities, and pretends that he has a Ph.D. He uses this to dishonestly get people to trust that he knows what he's talking about, when in fact he isn't an expert in any scientific field.
Right now he's serving a jail sentence for tax evasion. |

Or it can be summerised as!
Kent Hovind teached High-School science for 15 years.
He is a YEC!
He proved the Bible right!
He proved the evolution theory wrong!
He keeps slaughtering evolutionists in debates, and that makes the very angry!
And now he is in Jail for expressing his message! For wanting to make America a better place!

He proved the evolution theory wrong! | That's like claiming that I've disproven spherical Earth theory by looking at the horizon and saying "look, it's all flat!"

1.So what you are saying is: even if evolution is disproved by all 5 our senses, it is fact because some scientist says so?
Theories should be based on observable facts!
Yet you say facts are based on your theories!
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
2. In other words . . . . . . . .
Kent Hovind is liar and do not believe that it is wrong to lie, thinks only of himself and would never go to jail because of his sin!
Are we talking about the same Hovind here?
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
3. By disproving false theories about the earth, and thus giving the Americans better information in the Information age! If he does not fight for his cause, few will take him seriously!

Prysdie Heer, Kent Hovind seriously did not pay his taxes. Now he is in jail because of this. It's not because of his message, it's because of his refusal to pay his taxes. Please please please wrap your mind around this fact.
| Religion News Blog wrote: | | Kent Hovind, founder of Creation Science Evangelism and Dinosaur Adventure Land in Pensacola, was found guilty of 58 counts, including failure to pay $845,000 in employee-related taxes. He faces a maximum of 288 years in prison. |
That's a LOT of money he basically stole from his country by not paying his taxes. This is a serious crime, and as such, Kent Hovind is a criminal who is now in jail because of his crime. |

Politicians in Washington steal multiple billions from their country on a daily basis, and the only thing that happens is that they get reelcted.
How is it that Hovind gets 288 years and locally here a guy who butchered his family gets 27 years, and this after they had to track him down in Mexico. The criminal justice system is something else. |

That's because tax evasion is like the worst crime you can possibly commit, as far as any government is concerned. |

P1, there are some thoughts you can keep to yourself, since at the moment, I'm working on my taxes. |

Obviously, he wouldn't be able to serve 40 years. |

At least while he's in jail he won't be able to preach his hatred of science. |

| Oh, I'm sure he'll manage somehow assuming his "ministry's" assets aren't seized as part of the judgment. |
