Prayer for my Daughter and her Dad

I've never done this...a prayer request on this forum. I feel funny about asking for something from you all but I also feel compelled to ask.

My daughter lives in UT about 7 miles from her dads house.

I live in another state. I divorced her dad several years ago and have since remarried.

Her dad was diagnosed with cancer several months ago. She has been there for him throughout this whole ordeal.

Yesterday, she and her fiancee' and my grandson went to visit him. He was covered in blood and extremely disoriented. They tried to get him in to the car. He would not go. She called an ambulance. She went to be with him at the hospital today and expected to either take him home or to hospice. The Dr.'s told her he is not going home. He is dying. They have given him hours to days to live.

I am over 500 miles away. I told her I will be there. All she has to do is say the word and I will be on my way. She was busy with Dr.'s, signing paperwork when I spoke with her. She said she will call if she needs me to come. I don't know what to do. She is beside herself. He is sedated but still in pain.

Please pray for my daughter, her fiancee, my grandson and my grandbaby-to-be who is expected in August and please pray for her dad as he is apparently in such great pain.

Ahhh luv, so sorry to hear that. I just pray that God be with your daughter thru this very hard time in her life. It's hard when you loose a parent. My dad was 48 yrs old when he died & I lost my mom last year! Sad

I just pray the Lord give your daughter the strength & protect that little grandbaby!

My daughter is 27. It's hard to lose a parent at such a tender age. I was young when my dad died too.

You know my heart and prayers and thoughts are with you and your family Luv.
I was 31 when I lost my mom, and a couple years later lost my brother to cancer.
I know the hurt.. Crying or Very sad

I shalll pray for your daughter and her husband and her father. May God's peace and grace be with them all. I shall pray for His strength to be with your daughter and to protect her and her unborn child. May her father have ease of pain during this time. I shall also pray for you in your concern for your family especially your daughter. God bless.

Hello;

I just wanted to give you all a quick update.

Katies dad is in a coma. They are surprised he's hanging in there. She has asked me to come to Utah for a few days to help out.

My husband is going to hold things down on the homefront while my youngest and I make the trip down south. She sounded like she's holding together pretty well but just needs emotional support as well as help to hold things together on her home front.

I may not be able to get online for a few nights but know that I am thinking of you and grateful for your prayers and thoughts.
