That was awesome!
Makes perfect sense!

Plus,
guess what people, especially ladies, yearn for automatically when they need calcium or whatever food?

with Love for all foods,
atoz

So what do they want?

BTW, about the list that Diane posted....
Does anyone know what foods are good for people with stomach problems?

what kinds of stomach problems eleven?

If acid reflux, I get that..oowww..
I take a couple tablespoons of vinegar. It sure tastes bitter but it helps a lot.
I also use PhaZyme tablets with a meal and that helps remove the gas bloating and acid build up.

it could be related to milk products or acid foods.
I think a lot of mine is due to not having teeth and able to chew my food properly.

I just priced out a set of dentures..$699.00
Hopefully by spring..woohoo..

Stress can cause a lot of stomach problems too.
So what are the symptoms?

No, it's not reflux. And I am one of the fortunate ones who can eat spicy foods -love them.
I just very often have a sore stomach, if that makes any sense. Like someone just punched me there.
Or like how your stomach feels after Thanksgiving dinner? Only I haven't eaten very much.

But God always turns evil into good......I'm down 12 lbs.
Razz
Still have about 30 to go..... Mad

But now I'm only mildly obese... Rolling Eyes Laughing

If I eat a meal close to bed time..
I will wake up in the middle of the night feeling like someone has been using my ribs for a boxing bag. And it feels like it expands and contracts until it makes me sick.

Sometimes it can last for a 2-10 hours. Very uncomfortable.
But since I started using those phazyme tablets with meals, I haven't had any problems..

But, then again..I haven't been eating any fastfoods lately either. It seemed like evertime I ordered frenchfries or a hamburger from McD or BK, I would end up with that problem.

Maybe try out a few foods at a time and see which ones are giving you trouble.

I'm 172..and I've got a little more than 40 to go..
I'm mildly obese too..and my joints are screaming at me daily...

LIGHTEN UP!! LIGHTEN UP!!...LOL..

I'm working on it.. Very Happy

I bought a carton of Silk Soy milk last night...
the jury is still out..not sure about whether I like it or not. Kind of an aquired taste kind of thing..
I'm trying to get aquired LOL..

One day it struck me that Jesus always blessed the food before he ate. Something to consider.

A personal experience, if I may:
In a town about 30 miles from where I live, is a wonderful seafood restaurant. For special occasions I will go there, seemingly alone, and order the very best.

One day, I was sitting in the booth, enjoying the most fabulous meal and wine, when the waitress came over to me and asked if everything was satisfactory.
I told her "yes, it was wonderful."

She said, "I kind of figured it was because you have been smiling the entire time. Sometimes a person needs to get out by themselves."

I told her, Oh, I'm not here by myself. I take Jesus everywhere I go, and we are having a wonderful time together!

The waitress kind of stammered and said, "oh well sure......of course......that's nice.......(all the while backing up like I had just announce I had some contagious disorder."

BUT, I said. You have to be careful when you take Jesus out with you, because He never picks up the tab.

The waitress started laughing out loud.
"That's a good one! "she said, "I'll have to tell that one to the girls in the kitchen".

I'm still trying to figure out what was so funny......

Ice cream sundaes? Very Happy

Loveya, Di

Yes! Milk!
Amazing!

That's the answer, Eleven.

NOBBY: that was a cute joke!smile and the truth is often said in jest! It is because I am so all-stuffed with words that I am not and don't have to be stuffed with food, hmmmmmmn smile, and why I have so much old and new stuff to give away out of the treasure of my stuffings of and in my heart!!!!! smile

It is a fact that it is because I love myself as hungry that I am only half as hungry as any person who hates being hungry!smile

Loving myself as hungry means I am always full of Love even when my belly is empty of food.

Hating myself as hungry always meant that I was always doubly hungry: hungry for Love and hungry for Food: which meant that I overbought food whenever I went shopping hungry and overate food to not only satisfy my physical hunger but used my food as an emotional onjeft to satisfy my spiritual hunger---something no food can do! And still never felt wholly satisfied!

All over eaters or gluttons are stuffed with food but not with Love: just ask them if they love themselves as hungry!
See?

Hope that stuffing of Love helps somebody!smile

With Love, the mother's milk of humanity from the land of milk and honey, the stuffing that is not and can never be ever completely stuffed, smile

No offense atoz, but I like Paul's answer better.

1Timothy 5:23
23Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.

God is good. All the time! Laughing

Wow! She took 'kissing the ground' you walk on to a higher level, eh?

(Just kidding).

Seriously though, what makes people crave certain things?

I have been known to crave and eat uncooked oatmeal for several consecutive days.... then suddenly, the craving just stops.

I imagine it could be the minerals in the soil that your wife needed (and so that may be why she craved it).

I have dry, itchy skin, particularly in the winter and I have wondered recently if that may have something to do with my temporary craving for uncooked oatmeal as I do tend to crave it for a short time during the winter mainly.

I had a dog that would eat grass sometimes. I think that, often there is a reason for our cravings.

Luv Very Happy
