I've been working for Cirque Du Soleil for about a month now and the physio department gave me a custom workout routine using "rubber bands". Like big rubber scarfs that you can tie to things to work out your legs and arms.
It's actually a pretty good workout combined with swimming and the gym. Anyone else use these? |

They gave me one when I had physio for a shoulder injury. I think there are different colours for different measures of resistence. I should dig that thing out again. It does improve strength.

Hi Admin, yes about a year+ ago when I got out of the hospital, they wanted me to do some regular workouts.
I went back& did exercise's twice a week, for 6 months.
We used the rubber bands for stretching before & after exercising. When I quite I got me 2 of the rubber bands!
I also have a pair of dumb bells.
They always had to moniter my oxygen/blood level, & my heart while I exercised |

Okay, this is just too weird. I posted this on Wed and on Thursday my shoulder injury came back in spades. It's been at bay for a couple of years.
Pray for me folks.

Dear Mo,
Sorry about your shoulder pain.
Praying about it.
This book and this site will help you to see that there is a 'weird' connection beween the post and the pain:
Healing Back Pain
by Dr. John E. Sarno.

thankyou nobby and Di. Appreciate your prayers.
Nobby, I tore a ligament in my shoulder several years ago at my work carrying something I shouldn't have been carrying. I had several months therapy, but they cut me off really before it was healed. It's been weak ever since and anything could have set it off. It may even have been the cholesterol pills which are known to attack the muscles although I stopped taking them after I started to get severe headaches.
Thanks atoz for suggesting it's all in my head. You should have been a doctor the way you keep handing out diagnosis on everyone's ailments. I really can't decide atoz whether you intentionally go out of your way to offend people or .........................

Hi Mojo,
Silly billy me!
I was trying to help.
I am so sorry if I offended you!
I was just trying to also help practically since you asked us all to help by praying and God says that it's no use me praying 'be filled' or 'be healed' if I have the bread or the filler and don't supply the bread or the filler as per James 2:14-18.
Right?
Unintentionally offending people is just an occupational hazard of what I do. And as along as I love myself as an offender, I can handle it when someone thinks I am intentionally offensive or just offensive by accident even when I was not.
I'll know better next time with you!smile
By the way, just to reassure you,
the pain is real even when the cause starts in my brain: so the pain is never all in my brain: the brain feels no pain.
You can also easily figure out if I am intentionally trying to offend:
I would be offended by you even just wondering if I were intentionally going out of my way to offend people or.......... Great peace have all those who LOVE God's law and NOTHING shall offend them. Ps 119:165.
So since I am not offended, the diagnosis must be that my heart condition is perfect and right!smile
Now, that is all in my heart & head!smile
By the way, thank you for also handing out your pre-prognosis to me that I should have been a doctor!smile
It's so accurate that you should've been ----!smile
I am a doctor --- like this!smile:
"Each person carries his own doctor inside of him.
The patient goes to the physician because she does not recognize her own strength.
A physician's greatest asset is his ability to bring out the doctor already within his patients."
Dr. Albert Schweitzer
with all Love and Respect,
atoz

Thank you, jp!
