I fear I have brought judgement upon both our houses. It now seems we are both out flanked by the satanic vote! Mea Culpa, mea culpa.
I smell a nutty aroma. Could it be that 2022 is in the Jimmy Carter camp? At least I'm with him on the Spiced ham issue. You can feed the dogs with your corned beef but give me SPAM any day of the week.

wilber - just about to imbibe some Earl grey, cheers to y'all.

It's what you use to fix holes in the wall.

I am rendered speeechless before this world court of food experts and expertise!

Therefore, I must abstain, and simply munch on my words as I watch in wonder at this display of culinary art and artistes!smile

I must also withdraw forthwith my naive suggestion and motion that any sujbect involving the word 'mite' be threaded and treaded on! I know I risk being beheaded for such naivete! But what ever can be discerned from the nuts of the pea combined in endless combinations with other foods?

Now if y'all wd discuss hazel nuts and cashew nuts and brazilian nuts and almond nuts and blond nuts and lug nuts, I may be able to make some sort of contribution, albeit a nutty one.smile

Nobby, wd youstop this sorta thing?
Think of all the---uh oh!
Ignore that Nobby!
Lots of new people on here recently, I notice!smile

In Love of nutty people,
atoz, the lone nut, smile

Okay. I voted even though I haven't tasted either. This thread reminds me of the passage from Acts 10:12-15 -- 12In it were all kinds of four-footed creatures and reptiles and birds of the air. 13Then he heard a voice saying, ‘Get up, Peter; kill and eat.’ 14But Peter said, ‘By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is profane or unclean.’ 15The voice said to him again, a second time, ‘What God has made clean, you must not call profane.’

So I think ya'll know what my vote is. Cool

Diane, you are funny.
Ever had that Jif chocolate peanut spread? It's decadent! Immoral! Totally scrumptious! Embarassed

It's great on bananas! Or spooned right out of the jar.

No, you just boil the peanuts in salty water (shell and all). It's a Southern thang! They do tend to get a little slimy though. Laughing
