Hi VM,

Very sorry about your marriage.
I wish i had gotten here sooner---to try to save it.
sigh
So it's God's will.

What makes you think that you, a stranger on the net, can just come and save someones marrage?

Hi Mikeinsarasota,

Howdy!

Good point!
And I do see your point!
Thanks for your input.

With all Love and Respect,
atoz

Hmmm
Jacinth is making nice!smile
That's good!

Thanx for asking!
I am as old as I am!

Sorta like this:smile

Lepidus. What manner o' thing is your crocodile?

Antony. It is shaped, sir, like itself;

and it is as broad as it hath breadth:

it is just so high as it is,

and moves with its own organs:

it lives by that which nourisheth it;

and the elements once out of it, it transmigrates.

Lepidus. What colour is it of?

Antony. Of it own colour too.

Lepidus. 'Tis a strange serpent.

Antony. 'Tis so. And the tears of it are wet.

Octavius. Will this description satisfy him?

Now, Jacinth, rhetorically, how young are you?smile

in the Love that is both ever-new, ever-green and ever-old,
atoz

Somehow, I dont think so.. I'm in 6th form college (A-levels) and I read good poetry, and I'm confused by what Atoz says a lot of the time..
Generally I'll come on here, read something and then go do some housework or something while thinking about it, before I reply..
Hey, maybe I'm just not as smart as the rest of you..
But I dont think that Atoz is in highschool!!!!

Hi Ardy (I hope you don't mind me shortening your name as it has a lot of a's, ss's and a couple of d' - I may be dyslexic),

atoz, speaks the language of love and respect....a little known commodity in this world. But with God's help we can learn to understand this language as well as atoz does. It's really very cool.

God bless you,

Di

Yeah I agree completly.. I absolutly love language, and want to learn as much about it as possible, no matter how long it takes..
The thing that annoys me quite a lot is talking to my friends on msn, and they use all this 'text speak' and I cant understand half of it, let alone read it... Annoying.. 16 years old and they cant even speak proper queens English.. I get called Posh a lot as well... Which is kind of funny.. Just because my accsent is different, being origionally from England and moving here (Wales) when I was nine.
I think writing and language is one of the most important things in life. If I go on holiday and dont take a book with me, I'm lost completly for the entire time.. I was even reading Christmas day (not that Mum liked that).. Very HappyVery Happy

Am attempting to actually read the bible at the moment, all my friends think I'm insane, but I want to learn.. So here goes.. Shame we have about 5 different versions in the house.. !!! Surprised

Good! It's Ardy then when we speak to each other.

Good again!!! Here's a tip: We can superimpose love on all that comes our way.....especially ourselves.

First lesson....already!!! It is possible to start superimposing love on your annoyance and I'll bet you it will begin.....eventually.....to vanish.

The world needs people like you Ardy. People who can articulate well....in love.

Yes, but add that to my middle name, Margaret, then try and write that on an exam paper, or go school at all... All my friends call me Cassie.. But for some reason, no one can ever spell it.. even if they've been friends with me forever, so didn't think I'd use it for this... RazzVery Happy

Thats the second time on this forum I've been told to love myself, so there must be truth in that.. Thanks!!

Yes.. Your right.. It will vanish.. When my friends grow up or I stop talking to them.. RazzVery Happy

Thanks.. I think that if I die knowing that a book I've written has touched someone, or helped them... Then I'll die a happy person..

Margaret is nice too....but I see what you mean - Cassandra Margaret is a mouthful. LOL Or a handful if your writing it.

Di replies:

Yes...there is a lot of truth in it. The nice thing is you won't have to wait 40 or 50 years to begin loving yourself....as many people do, imo. Well....true for me anyway.

Mum has been emptying out boxes from the attic. Even though we moved here about eight years ago, we havnt unpacked fully.. We are finding loads of stuff from mine and my brothers childhood...
A few hours after I read your comment, mum came in and handed me a bible with my name on it (Cassie). It reminded me imeditaly of your comment and I realised that maybe it was a coincidence, but maybe not. It's actually a really nice bible, and in perfect condition!
Very HappyVery Happy Good to know I now have somewhere to start, and it's come in handy already, because Atoz keeps giving me things to look up Very HappyVery Happy

When you begin loving yourself at 40 or 50, isn't it easier? You have more knowledge and have a lot more past. I thought it would be easier, than beginning to understand the world and trying to love yourself all at once?

You have to look at life with a sense of humor a lot of the time, otherwise theres no point in it at all.. If you cant learn to laugh at yourself, it just hurts more when other people laugh at you.

Wow! I'm speechless. Well....that is wonderful, Ardy. Maybe God whispered into Mum's ear while she was working in the attic. He talks to us in to most uncanny places....and in the most marvelous ways.

I remember...waaaay back when I opened up my first bible - I read the Gospel of John. I guess it is my favorite...just an FYI here...not making any suggestions. You start where you want to start and when.

In a way it is easier....after you forget all the years you spent worrying about if you did it right and twisting yourself into pretzel to please others. I pray you'll be spared that, dear.

Such wisdom from a person of such short years. Maybe I won't have to pray for you after all. LOL That's a joke. Laughing

Love and you're welcome with xxx (triple kisses right back at ya),
