The real reason for this post is to wish my theist and atheist friends on the board a happy and enlightened New Year and to hope you had a wonderful time on 25/26 December (whether you celebrated Christmas, the winter solstice, or the birth of Isaac Newton).

I will be absent for a while as I’ll be flying to Africa on Saturday and will be travelling until the end of January and most of the time a long way from an Internet connection. So my silence will not imply an unexpected conversion to superstition!

But I thought I’d leave the theists here with a question. Why did the latter monotheists cripple their God? It seems to me that inventing a God with omniscience was a serious error. (BTW, perhaps someone could tell me when God became omniscient? Yahweh, as described on the OT most certainly was not. Jesus may have alluded to this possibility but not, as far as I know, specifically and unambiguously. Does anyone know?)

A God who knows everything past, present and future is a crippled God. He cannot think and he cannot make a decision; he is completely impotent and completely stupid.

Just imagine that you know everything that will ever happen in the universe. That means you know every thought you will ever have before you have it. It means you cannot have an original thought. It means you cannot respond to circumstances in a novel way; you are completely constrained to a plan that is infinitely old. In fact it’s worse than that. How could God have created his plan? If he has always been omniscient there can never have been a time when he did not have perfect knowledge of the future. Therefore, he cannot have created his plan because that would imply there was a time when he did not know what was going to happen. Perhaps this means that God had a father who created him and his plan concurrently? (This gets even barmier if you argue God is outside of time—maybe we could discuss that little gem later. Very Happy)

It also shows something that I have long argued: don’t waste your time praying to God. He knows how he will respond before you pray and, because he has perfect future knowledge, he cannot change his own mind. He is trapped by his own omniscience.

So an omniscient God is an entity who cannot have an original thought, cannot make a decision and who has no choice but to work through a plan that he cannot have devised. By definition such an entity cannot be intelligent. So an omniscient God must be a stupid God.

And what does this say about the people who worship him…?

Time to see the light my friends, until we meet again,

Happy New Year

Dear Argenta!

Merry Whatever and a Happy New Year to you and family!

Hope you also have a safe trip to and pleasant stay wherever you go in Africa.

Please remember to omni-love yourself as black and as white so that you wd be able to auto love African blacks and whites as yourself--- and so also by that same principle of Omniagapotence that you wd realise that atheists who hate stupid humans and gods and so have to make them omniwise to love them are just as stupid as theists who hate humans or gods as ignorant and so have to make them ominscient to love them!

Also hope that that you wd pursue that Principle of Omniagapotence in the new year and at all times:

it will help you also to pre-realise that God's omnipotence or omnipresence or omni-whatever are also false constructs based on Hatred of God and Man as weak, absent or the opposite of whatever!

Cheers!

In the Omiagapotency of Love for the black and white, the smart and stupid, female and male, the absent and present, the knowing and ignorant, the weak and strong, etc and non-etc,
Atoz
