| Did Allah ever manifest Himself in the flesh, to men, according to the Quran. As God manifested himself in the flesh according to 1 Timothy 3:16 ??? |

| Maybe because Islam does not try to reduce G-d (Allah) to man status. |

Neither do I reduce God to a "man status". He never lost His diety. My question is in reference to Genesis chapter 18 also, for there are some OT verses where God "appeared" to someone. In Gen 18 He even ate.
I also gather your answer to my simple inquiring question is no, that is all I was trying to find out. |

| Actually, I know next to nothing about Islam or the Koran so don't take my answer as a definitive one. I do know that they do not believe that Jesus was divine however, nor do they believe that G-d (Allah) is a triune entity. Only the Christian bible tries to turn a man into a god. Well, if you don't consider various mythologies that is. |

towshab,
I had a couple of questions concerning your reply, and moved this tread to the "Torah" under manifested as......
I felt it was appropriate. |

No.. Mohamed never claimed to be... nor did he assert that any man had ever been God manifested in the flesh... why? |

The NT may not either:

Very nice... unfortunately I don't speak Greek.
NIV:
| Paul wrote: | Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great:
He appeared in a body, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory. |
I can dig up what Bible Works has to say about this in a transliteration... but what is the point. This pretty clear.
Was Paul wrong? |
