Looking for someone to study with

Hi. Would anyone like to study a book of the bible with me? I struggle with understanding the bible and im looking for kind folks who have a good grasp on things to help me through a book of the bible. any book will do i suppose. thanks in advance! Very Happy

Veronica, why don't you join the Hebrews study that's going on. I don't know how far into it they are and you may have to do some reading of their posts to catch up, but it could be a good place to start.

If you're interested let nobby know as its private and he has to let you into it.

If not, do you have a book in mind?

mojo i kinda wanted just to to a verse by verse study ...maybe of one of paul's epistles?

If you would like to study a particular book or theme or topic..
because sometimes when you open one book..it cracks open the whole bible. It's hard to contain it..lol..
But we can always study in the public study room anything you like.
Right now some of us are working on hebrews. It's got a lot of twists and turns in it..
some on topic some wandering..a little this a little that..
trying to keep it contained..but.. Rolling Eyes

Is there something you have in particular you would like to study?
In hebrews we are studying chapter 7 concerning Melchizadek. He was the High Priest of the Lord in the days of Abraham. So we go from hebrews to exodus..and beyond..LOL..
If this sounds like something you would be interested in then Nobby can open the door and you can come in.
If you would rather chew on something else then we can do that too.. Very Happy

hey how about we study Revelation chapter 1? thats always been a book that i thought was really cool and itnerestiong.

Hi Veronica,
Sometimes to read a single verse, will take it out of context. Most times you need to read verses before & after the verse your studying for it to make much sense. Smile

sometimes you need to read the bible a million times before anything makes sense..LOL..
The first time I ever opened a bible and began really reading it was in the book of revelation.
scared the bejeebees out of me..lol..
then I started getting real interested in prophecies..then just everything.. Laughing

I'm hoping if the door is open many will help to contribute to it.
I have started it in the public bible study forum,
verses 1-3.
But it takes more than one to study "together".. Wink

ask questions..and then we can go wherever it leads.
