I'm pretty jazzed - I just got a new IPOD Classic with 160gb. Think I'll be up all night transferring my CD's to it.
I'm an Ipod newbie - anyone have any tips or tricks 'n stuff? |

My freind has one. The same as yours. He loves it too. Often when he goes to a meeting he can create a play list with the music he wants to use at that meeting. Then he just plugs his connection into a music system and plays his ipod through there speakers No more CD,s no more hassel.
I myself tried using an apple Ipod for a while. I wanted it more for use when walking and traveling though. For me it was inconvienient because of the size in my pocket. I found that my small mp3 player was more comfortable and could hold enough songs for me to walk round the country with. The ipod had other features in it too like calender and organizer, But I use my telephone since I am often recording apointments during converstaions. Switching to my ipod would just be more hassel.
Well I gave back the Ipod. I don,t regret it, But I know others who just love there,s
I also have a portable twin speaker system just in case nobody has anything for me to connect my mp3 player too. Thats something you could look into for your Ipod. Its origionaly designed for Ipod and can be used in the car for everyone to hear or at meetings where a connection is not available or when camping or whatever?
I personaly am hooked on youtube. They say they have a service where you can download onto your telephone. I can hook my telephone up to the speaker system on my car. Check youtube.com out if you have not already?. I built my own channel. Watch profiles of those you are watching vids from though. I am particular about some of the sources of my music
Have fun. I hope it fills your needs

I have an IPOD Nano, love it!
I suggest you get ITunes on your PC, makes taking care of the IPOD very easy. |

My first suggestion is to put rockbox on it. that way you're not tied to any specific oprating system and can drag and drop files onto it. I have and ipod with rockbox and love it. I don't need itunes to transfer songs and my nano plays videos too. but i use linux so it might be diffrent for people. anyway my point is that the stuff the two big companies give you (apple and microsoft) might not be the best for you. there are other working alternatives for you. as a christian i found this really cool to not have to buy into the atheist apple stuff. |

Steve Jobs is an atheist, former buddhist and always wears a black turtleneck. Do you konw what the mac OS is called? At least the open source parts? DARWIN! And its mascot is a demon! The mascot named Hexley, after the atheist author aldous huxley. the list goes on. |

So, if Steve Jobs' atheism is relevant, what is Bill Gates? And how about the makers of rockbox?
Also, you said you have an ipod - you know, you already bought into 'evil atheist apple' stuff by having one.
Also, I need to echo TSS's sentiments on the black turtleneck thing. The only way I can see that being evil is if he wears the same black turtleneck every day - he either smells evil or wastes a lot of water. |

I wont defend bill gates, but you've heard of the bill amd melinda gates foundation, right? and rockbox peple are Christians.

Black is the color of evil. You seen all the goth people with black lipstick and eyeliner with turtlenecks and stuff. Hello?? I'm glad TSS got rid of his, though.
So you're not denying all the stuff about apple and atheists, right? I mean naming the operating system Darwin?? |

Priests and nuns wear black too. What do you make of that?

I question why you think that makes it evil. But, while we're on the subject of you thinking that non-Christian made stuff is evil, take a look at what's around your house and see how much stuff you have that's made in, say, China, where Christians aren't exactly prevalent. |
