My bible tells me that Jesus came, lived, died and was resurrected to save my life. It tells me that we are called to Him, by Him, and I do not see any scripture which indicates that you have the power or authority to 'save my life' or even try to. |
To bad you didn't read Christ's gospel commission....
28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.....
John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. |

[quote="nana"]. After all, the theologians have been trying to figure it out for centuries and for a layman to say he understands is just nonscence to most all people.
Mt.16:17"And Jesus answered and said unto him 'Blessed art thou Simon Bar-jona,; For FLESH and BLOOD HATH NOT REVEALED IT UNTO THEE, BUT MY FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN."
Here we read that we are not to be partially influenced by the Holy Spirit, Who is GOD, (not part of GOD).
We find that religious leaders, throughout history, of both Judaism and Christianity, have personally interpreted Scripture, contrary to, in the case of the Jews, Deut.4:2, 12:32; and Gentiles 2 Pet.1:20 also Rev.22:18.
To comprehend Scripture we need be able to prove all points solely by the Bible, to be able to trace our chain of thought, our query, right through from Genesis to Revelation, without finding any contradiction or discrepancies.
GOD interprets Scripture, His Word, by bringing to pass, manifesting, what He has spoken. i.e. "Let there be light"
We have light so what He said is manifest, proven.
That people 'born in sin and shapen in iniquity' have the temerity to think they can explain what GOD means shows only the perversity and demonically dominated arrogance which now sadly dominates all religions, the entirity of Christianity and should encourage all to repent and subjugate ourselves solely to GOD. |

Because the very word: Revelation ....means, 'revealing'.

Revelation means: to make clear, to expose to view, to uncover, and that is what GOD promised to do in this last age.
To return, open the 7 Seals, reveal the mysteries of the Godhead, all the points being so frantically argued by scholars, experts, theologists, etc.
Only GOD knows what HIS WORD, HIS BIBLE means and we, as His children, are required to put aside our thoughts, our beliefs, our theories and to submit our mind to His.
We are instructed to put on the mind of CHRIST, not Martin Luther, John Wesley, the pentecostal cacophony, but the mind of CHRIST and that is singular in all things relevant to the Word. |

And then, be surrendered enough to the will of God to do, whatever is required for that day, no matter what it is, that is required of us. |

Ecc 3:9 ¶ What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
Ecc 3:10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
Ecc 3:11 He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
Ecc 3:12 ¶ I know that [there is] no good in them, but for [a man] to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
Ecc 3:13 And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it [is] the gift of God.
Ecc 3:14 I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him.
Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
whatsover God doeth, it shall be forever..
He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: |

He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: :D | OK....let's put these Bible verses to the test.
How does the Lord's day..... 7th day sabbath, the 4th commandment, stand ?
By this I mean....some people have come to say that all days are holy now, YET, in the creation, God ONLY made one day holy, and ONLY blessed one day (Genesis 2:2,3).....has that changed ?
Are the above verses, wrong ? |
