Hello All,
I am in deperate need of prayer for a very dear friend of mine by the name of Mac. He is/was a baby Christian- first returned to church about a year ago.

Since then, he has come across some difficult financial situations which has caused him to lose all trust and faith in Jesus.

It seems now that he is just totally giving up. He's not going to church anymore, he's not studying the Bible the way he used to. He is angry and lashes out all all those around him, even the ones who love him most.

Mac has some incredible spiritual gifts - of which he is not even aware of. However, unless he comes to realize that he needs to step out of this world, and walk in the ways of Jesus, he will die a very lonely, hateful old man.

Please pray for Mac to hear God's voice, and to choose to leave this world behind. In honesty I fear it is already too late.

Thanks family,
Love

Hi 11,
I'll be praying for Mac.
Times are financially hard for a lot of people. It's not God's fault it's man's fault for being so greedy.
The only way to truly overcome financial hardship, is to remove the fear and depression and hopelessness that it creates on the inside of us.
If you can overcome the fear of having nothing, then truly there is nothing to fear.

Is he angry because he is losing "things" he's holding onto too tightly. Sometimes they get taken away so that we can lean on eachother rather than material things.

I don't know the situation, but I can admit I've been there myself. And once you have lost everything and your still alive and breathing..everything else that gets added on is simply a blessing.
It's when we take these blessings for granted and begin to rely on them for happiness instead of simply loving life for whatever it offers, then they slowly dissappear or are suddenly removed.

You say Mac just became a christian a year ago and is a babe..And it's these most vulnerable times when we are tested as well as the soldier who's been in the war for years.

The only advice I can give you 11, is just to visit him and listen to him and let him know you care and love him.
And in time when things begin to settle down he will return again. He's just going through one of those learning curves we all go through.
How to keep faith in the worst of times.
It's hard..but it makes us stronger in the end.

Is he able to get online? Maybe he would like to join the family here and we could just be there for him too.

I'll be praying for our friend Mac.

Hugs
Lone

Oh... I know a tad bit about the financial hardship and losing Everything (note the capped "E") I loved and owned," too. The Lord knows...

Prayer got me through the rough parts, now and then. Who am I? If prayer works for me, then it will work for your friend Mac, too.

Consider it done (the my praying part).

Thats a great start. Remeber that nothing is impossible with God. He turned the early Christian's worst enemy (Saul), into one of the greatest missionaries ever. We will keep Mac in our prayers.
