Post here first. Roger. Was all hot to trot to get involved in a couple discussions, didn't even read this.
Viking Man. Handle from ancestry. Big strong norsemen. Call me Vike.
History. Saved at 7, have lived consistently for God since. 29 years old. Married with 2 cute but oh my gosh tiring girls. Love to lift. Love to help men be men. Starting an online resource sight for sex addicts. Blah blah blah.
I've been a big participant in several online forums for weight lifting, and I am going to be scaling back my participation in those, and I'm thinking I'll keep most of my online activities to this kind of thing. As I've gotten older, it's been harder to stay dug into the Word. I read it rabidly as a teenager and young man. So, I figure if I get myself involved in a couple discussions around here, I'll be more likely to have a reason to read it daily.
Good stuff.
Vike. |

Hi Vike, Welcome to our group. I've been reading your posts, very interesting.
You said you were very much into weight-lifting.
We have a man now in our church who's into weight-lifting. He's 67years old & won the world championship for two in a row! That is in his age class. I believe last year he was edged out, & took 2d .
I won't put his name on here.
He's got arms as hard as a granite bolder & a heart as soft as a boul of mush!
Again welcome, you have questions, just ask me or one of the mod's. |

Yeah, unfortunately, my left shoulder has been acting up, so I haven't been lifting for the last 5 or so weeks. Lost a good 5 pounds of muscle so far. But, it'll come back fast enough.
Thanks for the welcome. I look forward to participating. |

Funny you should mention that. I'm a programmer, I write code for a living. So I'm banging on a keyboard all freakin day long. I recently started a project in my spare time that has me writing a lot of code at night too, and I'm starting to get some overuse injuries in my hands. It's not in my shoulders, elbows, or wrists like I usually hear. It's in the tips of my pinky and ring finger on my left hand. The fingers I use to hit the CTRL and Shift keys, which I'm using all the time while writing code. It's forcing me to change the way I type. |

Cool by me. God gave us a brain for a reason. Probably best we use it. |

Hi. Nice to meet you Vike. Weight lifting sounds pretty heavy man! Kids are hard work no matter how strong you are, aren't they. (Have one myself.)

Hi Vike,
Welcome!
Congrats on being married and being blessed to have those 2 girls!
U must be a busy man with family, site for addicts, wt-lifting, injured fingers, shoulder and etc!
See you on the forum.
with all Love and Respect,

The weight lifting is "easy" compared to raising kids. Good grief. |

Hello Vike and welcome to the forum!
I'm both a light-weight lifter and a light-weight thinker (so it's nice to have Lone around to keep me on my toes)
See ya' 'round the 'board'walk!
