Culture and history are very important, so that's great to hear.

I would love to discuss with you about those elements. I believe that as a people, the human race must understand our history in correct terms. Usually the person with the loudest voice gets to write history, and define the way that people think about ourselves.

So I see the "spiritual battle" as a cultural one. How do you feel?

Its funny you should bring that up. Hmmm, I think the problem is that the cultural battle directs the spiritual one. If one were to read, the pentateuch, Joshua, Judges to Chronicles, one would see that precise perdicament of the culture directing the spiritual. This is direct opposite to what the LORD God has desired from man.

It seem to me the bible message is God manifestation for the earth. We are commanded to manifest His spirit now, (fruits of Gal 5:22-23) by belief accepting his word and believing in his Son. At least if one can come to an understanding with Christ as the messiah. At the second coming of Christ, or the coming of messiah, as some may say, God spirit will be "all in all". Then TRUE peace on earth will be obtained.

We can discuss almost from the very beginning of man's existence, at leas "post Adamic" man that the battle between culture and God's spirit has been going on.

I see a battle now in Judaeo / Chrisitian cultures...the difference now seems things (cultures) are much more acceptable, and the lessons from history of man relationship with God haven't been learned from much.

Don't know if I answered your question, perhaps too much...let me know what you think

In your statement that the problem is with the cultural battle directing the spiritual one, I can see that you are defining culture as something non-spiritual. You are contrasting the "two".

I believe that what you're getting at is the contrast between the culture of the fallen, and the culture of the risen. This is where I believe the key issue to be for the world, and all people. We must learn to identify ourselves as God's children, and to establish our culture in the earth. Resisting this change is the culture of the fall, and the system of traditions and beliefs that go with that culture. I am thinking that this must be what you were getting at when you said:

Am I reading you right? If so, would you agree with me that the key to life is all about the higher culture and understanding, and its victory over the fallen traditions and beliefs? What is your position on this thinking, and how it is or should best be applied practically in our lives?

I mean the culture of Zion, where God dwells among His People. As you know, wherever two or three gather there is culture, and what type of culture it is depends on the character of how the people are coming together.

So the High Culture is when two or three come together in God's name. He says that He is there in the midst.
