"Churchill, Hitler and the Unnecessary War", sounds like a rehash of old information concerning WWII. But in light of more recent conflicts it might be worth reading.
By the way it was Churchill who was quoted as saying it was an unnecessary war not Buchanan. Pat cites the undue pressure put upon Germany economically by the treaty of Paris which set the groundwork for Hitler's rise. If the French and British had been more merciful to the Germans after WWI there might not have been any means for Hitler to rise to power. |
