Great Controversy Between Christ and Satan

Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
12:12 Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

QUESTION: Why did satan make WAR in heaven ?

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Jesus Christ said this:
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Satan's objective is this:
Revelation 12:17 And the dragon (satan) was wroth (angry) with the woman (true church), and went to make WAR with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The Great Controversy should then, be very obvious.

Jesus Christ wants Christians to obey the Law of God, out of Love for God.

Romans 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Satan hates the Law of God, because it is connected to love, for God.

The entire Bible wraps around this conflict.....in which Christians, play a part in helping Jesus Christ.
