Regarding item number 3 from the list above, I perused all of the avatars available and some of them are, well, a bit racey. I saw a few anime females wearing halter tops who bouce and their breasts bounce with them. Shocked

There were others that also seemed inappropriately suggestive. There's also an awful lot of pagan and satanic symbols and images people can choose as their avatar. I'm not necessarily opposed to such since we have atheist members and presumably could get satanists as well who commit to being regular members and want to show their colors, however some of it is what I would call inappropriate for a Christian board.

Just my opinion.

Believe me the reins on this board are about to be tightened!
Tho's Rules above I'm going to follow as near as I can!
I may have some members, mad at me. I hope not but rules are
the same for all. That includes myself & the other Moderaters also!
Things are going to change, I can only pray for the better!

Hi,
I just got a chance to do some work on the board. Nobby, I made this "non-sticky" and reposted the rules info, hope that's ok.

Re: Avatars. I personally went through the Avatars and took out a LOT of ones I thought were over the top. If you see a particular one, please let me know about it. We created a general setup for ALL our boards that we hoped would work for all our different community groups. A lot of the changes we made were specifically because of our Christian community groups, like removing particular Avatars, etc.

It's a grey area between letting people express themselves and keeping common decency. We hope our middle ground works well, but we can always make changes.
