I just wanted to say hi, and introduce myself. I go by Ashnichat online, so that's what to call me I guess. I'm nineteen years old, married, and fixing to start college to be a high school english teacher. It's always been my dream to teach, and I have a passion for literature and grammar (yes really).
My husband is in the Air Force, he just finished basic training and is now waiting for his tech school to start. Fortunately his tech school is on the base in my hometown, so he's really close and I get to see him nearly every day. I miss him terribly and can't wait until he can move back in with me again.
I got saved three years ago this month, but I didn't completely get my life in order until a month later when I was at a ski retreat in New Mexico. I made a stand at my school and lost a lot of friends over it, but I made new ones and eventually moved past those losses. Apparently my youth pastor was impressed with me for doing what I did, because he asked me to speak in front of my church about what happened at the retreat and how it changed my life.
I'm going through a difficult period in my life right now, and sometimes I find myself doubting God. I'm here to ask questions, hopefully find some answers, and reaffirm my faith.
Thanks for your time, and God bless! |

Welcome to the board Ashnichat! What did you do that so impressed your pastor? _________________ "Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction."
