I am a disabled veteran, and a broken spirit. I see the valor of my former comrades, and marvel at their accomplishments and sacrifice. I miss the honor that they embody. I am still a man, yet am damaged. I still like a days work and the coming home to my Wife. I have been discriminated against, and have lost a job, and then discriminated against from being hired somewhere else.
I still search for a new job, but I am not as confident as I was. I sometimes have to use a cane at only 26 years old, and my body aches. I still don't give up. I cannot take being sedentary. I have lost everything that I worked so hard for, and need to restart. My honor must be reestablished.
I Beg to God to help me overrcome this adversity. I know that with God, nothing is impossible. If there is something within me displeasing to my Lord, let it be revealed and overcome. I need to go on. I need to get right with God.
I beg to be reestablished and whole again, so I can support my Wife and earn back my Honor. To God I pray in faith of Jesus.

Blessings.

You are surely not alone, brother. I too, am a disabled veteran. I think I know exactly how you feel. I was injured at the age of 22 in war. Walking with a cane at that same age. Had my 8th surgery on my legs at the age of 24. I have not been able to run since I was injured 15 years ago (I used to max the run on my PT test - 10 minute 2 mile run).

But of all the things that I had lost, I never lost my faith in the Lord. And if you can keep that faith, in time you will reap what it sows. He will surely carry you on, brother, and show you many amazing things that you may not have known otherwise. Be strong, fight the good fight... and run the good race in spirit. It is much swifter and more marvelous than the flesh. Very Happy

You are in my prayers.

God Bless
