please be careful here mary....not everything is as one might think when they first get here...
they're many here who will stumble over one another, falling in all kinds of ditches, to get the chance to...."teach"...you the scriptures....
there is but one TEACHER....
the best thing to do is find a good conversation and join in....listen a lot....test everything...there is some wholesome food here...there is a lot of poison also...
and one can't tell which is which at first...
the bible in context then by comparison...as lead by HIM...
when a young man asked JESUS what he needed to do to be saved...JESUS asked him a simple question...
what is written in the law(which is now both old and new testament)?...how do you read it?...
HE did not ask the man how his friends read it to him...not to say one should not get counsel often on biblical matters...but...
it is no ones soul but yours you were asking about in the hello forum....
how do you read it with HIS guidance and a little direction from GODly friends?...what does it say to you?...
stick around for a while and you will see...
