Entered into His Glory

Lk 24:

26Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

What is this verse telling us ? Well it means that now that christ has suffered and died for his people , he is now setting in his glory administering the benefits of his accomplished death. This includes the servitude of God the Holy Spirit making application unto all them [the elect] for whom He died. He is now seeing his inheritance being brought to God..

lk 9:

30And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:

31Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

It has been noted: The glory of christ lies not in his sufferings, but in the issues, perfectly secured, according to the purposed ends and designs thereof; and so he suffers first, and then enters into his glory of a perfect possession of the fruits thereof, without defect or failure: even as the prophets as the Holy Spirit testified beforehand the sufferings of christ, and the glory should follow..1pet 1:11

Jesus eyed this success beforehand.. heb 12:

2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

isa 53:

10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

11He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

He will see the conversion of his spiritual seed and be satisfied..His death death and sufferings justified them..

God the Father says:

heb 1:13

13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
heb 10:

12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

13From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

We[ the elect] his enemies by nature are converted to his footstool , and the reprobated are being used for his glory and then suffer their just due predetermined punishment..

Jesus christ glory is his mediatorial acheivements as the GodMan Mediator of the new covenent which derives its essence from the everlasting covenant..

To say that any christ died for[ goes to hell or is not saved] is a strike against his glory..

God bless the israel of God..
