Hi all,
I'd be interested in your input on this. Would you put more weight in the words of Christian or the actions?

I know it seems like a bait and hook question, but you should know me well enough now to know I don't do that.

Whether words or actions, the Bible says to evaluate based on results over time. A good tree bears good fruit...

Any one can say they are Christians and plaster you with words/script from the bible!
Actions seem to speak louder than words!
Practice what you preach! Or don't Preach!
If you are Christian the good works & actions should be seen!

PS: Yes words of the bible are very important! If we don't know His words, how are we to witness to others?

On this subject, both words and actions seem important to me... but when I think of Jesus, I see a Savior that did not just 'talk it' but walked it. Christianity puts the sole on the shoe. (sorry about the wording there) I think it is supposed to be shoe leather or something. Please forgive me, I have been talking to 200 people today in a seminar.. so the mind is gone.

Sometimes though words are the only thing we have to convey thought and emotions. So words are important and can be encouraging.

However, talk only, especially in evangelism is lacking in my opinion.

Well, isn't this is a tough subject, Admin? Perhaps I should find my mind and try to think this one through at another time.
