Thank you for sharing. God truly does work in mysterious and miraculous ways.
Do you think He sends us messages sometimes?
In late 1989, my Grandmother had a stroke. The Doctors told us she was dying and that she had months to live.
I was a young woman in my twenties at the time.
One day in early January of 1990, I got up and started to get ready to go to work. For no reason, I called in to work sick. My daughter and I went to a local grocery store and bought a bunch of groceries and delivered them to our local Travelers Aid Society (groceries, blankets, toilet paper, paper towels...just a number of things). We filled the trunk and then we delivered it all.
As I was leaving to go home, I found myself instead driving to my sisters house. It wasn't planned, she wasn't expecting me and it was in the opposite direction of my home. I walked in to my sisters house and didn't even say hello. I said 'call Grandma.' She gave me a strange look but called. My Aunt answered and was semi-hysterical. She said they were checking Grandma at that very moment as they believed she had just passed away. They asked us to call back in 1/2 an hour. We did and my Grandmother had passed away right about the time I told my sister to call.
I have a strong work ethic. In the last 25 plus years, I have called in sick three times (days) when I wasn't physically ill. Two of the times, I was under severe emotional stress and felt I needed to slow down or I would be sick. It was more preventative maintenance. But that day, I still cannot explain.
I still miss my Grandmother and I still feel like someone else was guiding my footsteps that day.

Marvelous stories Mojo and Luv.
See? Now most people would say all these stories are just "coincidence". Coincidence definined, is nothing more than things that happen at the same time, but "coincidence" itself holds no power. So what does?
I don't understand how people can say what we see is all there is. _________________ Pain is inevitable;

Here's another one:
A woman at my church was married for the second time to a man who was struggling to get his own car repair shop started. They were struggling financially, and were beginning to suffer marital problems as well.
It was her hearts desire to go to theology school, but money was tight, and she was torn.
One day, she went to the beach to relax for the day with her daughter, and began to think of school once again. Torn once again, she asked God for advice.
Do I go, do I wait, what should I do?
Lying on the beach, she continued to pray.
When it was time to go, she thought about calling her daughter......but as she opened her eyes, the clouds had formed a large cross in the sky. There was her answer.
She enrolled in theology school, and today she is an assisant pastor in her church.
God Bless you Deb. _________________ Pain is inevitable;
