hi all i am new here and not quite sure what to do yet.hopefully some one can kind of show me around and help me out.sometimes i read a passage from the bible and dont quite understand its meaning and read it over and over and still cant.anyone else here have that problem?thats one of the reasons i came here to maybe discuss some of those that i cant quite get and maybe talk to someone that has figured it out.ok thanks and may god bless all of you who read this.  |

Which translation of the Bible do you normally read? Have you tried reading other translations?

in reply to the bible i read its the king james version.i just recently purchased the new international version and a study bible as well.its helping me out as they are easier to understand.this is a great site and so many kind folks here also.thankyou all for your help  |

in need, the New International Version (NIV) is very easy to read, I have the study. I like to use it. But I always fallback on the KJV.
