After Obama's recent trip to the Middle East, where Israelis and Arabs alike rallied around him.....likewise in Europe, where 200,000 cheering Germans assembled to hear him speak.....it seems Obama could become a world leader able to bring factions together, and possibly establish a period of world peace.
Not a bad thing, but if such a peace is strictly fueled by hype, lacking real substance, would such a peace be sustainable?.....say, beyond a three and a half year period or so?
Actually, Barack Obama may not be the world leader known as 'antichrist', as identified in the Book of Revelation, but consider possibly a European leader coming on the world scene after Obama, with Obama-like world appeal. Hmmmm!

edit: oh snap I assumed too quickly that you were implying Obama may be the antichrist carry on
the idea that a european leader could unify the world (including the US) is quite humorous though

Let me remind all of us that there are two separate and distinct end times leaders. One is the anti-christ and the other is the false prophet . So many people here forget this and Obama may still qualify for the false prophet role.

I'm just pointing out the parallels of this on going current modern day political situation, with what is written in a forward-looking, ancient, two thousand year old manuscript.

Nowhere does the Bible state that the sexual orientation of homosexuality is sinful — it merely instructs anyone, gay or straight, that any sexual act that does not spring from a place of love, respect and commitment to the other person involved is sinful. |

The only way I could foresee that happening is if or when America is called on all of its debts. We could be completely bankrupt with the national deficit what it is and still growing, and a bankrupt country is kind of at the mercy of the world.
