Frankly SS, I think every time you see the word "commandment, you take it to mean the ten commandments. In most of these cases, if not all, "commandment " means "teaching" and not necessarily the ten commandments.

Jesus taught a lot of things that were apart from the ten commandments. When he did discuss the ten commandments specifically, he was speaking to Jews, not Gentiles.

Not only that, but you seem to be missing the point that the commandments were put in place for our good in order to learn and basically protect ourselves from each other, not to earn gold stars with the Almighty.

By this you mean only Jews have committed sin ?

The Bible tells me.....

#1.) Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

#2.) 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

So...#1 tells me everyone has committed sin, both Jew and Gentile.

#2. tells me that sin, is breaking God's Law (commandments)

And the Bible tells me that the 10 commandments are going to be the standard by which every Christian going to be judged by.
James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all.

2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Eccl. 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.

12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether [it be] good, or whether [it be] evil.
