Have you ever been there?
Nope, but I'm curious how long it would take while being a "powderkeg in search of a match" without any major running-with-the-analogy fireworks going off before you'd admit that it apparently seems to work.

Are you aware that most people are actually exempt from the Law Embarassed and don't own a firearm? They live in fear of the loonies who do.

Quote:
Jones said one motivation for the council passing the ordinance had to do with publicity.

"It was done in response to a law passed by Morton Grove, Ill., outlawing gun ownership within the city limits," he said. "Several council members were upset Morton Grove had gotten a lot of attention with their ordinance so they decided to top them.

"They figured the gun ownership ordinance would knock that city right off the front pages. They were right."

Jones said the ensuing publicity surrounding the law has given Kennesaw worldwide name recognition...

He said the law in its final form has many loopholes, so not everyone is required to own a gun.

"There are many outs," he said. "When you look at it, almost anyone could fit into one of the exempted groups."

Kennesaw Police Chief Dwaine Wilson said no one has ever been prosecuted under the ordinance...

And Kennesaw isn't the only city in Cobb with an unusual law on the books.

According to Jeff Koon, who runs a Web site specializing in funny laws, Dumblaws.com, Acworth has a ordinance requiring residents to own a rake.

In Marietta, it is illegal to spit from a car or a bus, but perfectly legal to spit from a truck.

The rake law also seems to be working quite well. (No fear of those actually possessing rakes though by those who don't - at least not that I'm aware of.) I don't have any information on the "no spitting from select type of vehicles law" but it hasn't been in the news so I assume all is well on that front, too. Laughing

Why are you so sure there will be a next one? That's rather morbid.

Because Jake just found out that the baby Maria is carrying is not his!!! Maria slept with Olaf, but only because she felt sorry for him seeing how his evil brother Henry swindled 6 million dollars from the family shoe clogging business.

Meanwhile Jeremy, (he's the one who told Jake about Maria) told Jake only because he wanted payback for the time Jake made fun of him at the school prom 30 years ago. So Jake is planning to kill Olaf, but Henry (that's Olaf's evil identical twin) is laughing his -ss off because Maria never slept with Olaf, it was Henry the entire time. So now Jake kills Olaf, Henry gets away with embezzlement, Jake goes to prison, and Maria gets to marry Jeremy who has been her true love this entire time.

Unfortunately there is a car accident on the way to the wedding...........

dunt , dunt dah................ Shocked

But you have to admit, it's better than that other song-
Let's see- how does it go again??? OH YEAH!

"Two all beef patties-special sauce-lettuce-cheese-pickles-onions-on a sesame seed bun!" Very Happy

Shocked

Ok, don't read that. I certainly wouldn't want you to go around singing THAT one all day!
