Three deities is polytheism. None of my Trinitarian friends would say that they believe in more than one deity. _________________ "All wish to possess knowledge, but few, comparatively speaking, are willing to pay the price." - Juvenal |

I was raised in the Southern Baptist Church. I never heard any Southern Baptist pastor (then or since) teach that we are God. Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I don't think the doctrine of the Trinity teaches the idea that we are God. _________________ "All wish to possess knowledge, but few, comparatively speaking, are willing to pay the price." - Juvenal |

Don't worry about defining the Trinity, just keep going with it, and you will find something utterly astounding!
Have a nice journey!

I think I'll wait and see what the (orthodox) Trinitarians do with it. _________________ "All wish to possess knowledge, but few, comparatively speaking, are willing to pay the price." - Juvenal |

Hi Yeah I think I would like to know a little about this statement also Eleven.
| eleven wrote: | Don't you get it?
WE are God!!! |
Eleven when I am praying to God the Father does that mean that I am praying to you?
How is it that you are God? Do you mean "a god" (little g)? _________________ If Jesus Christ were to come today, people would not even crucify him. They would ask him to dinner, and hear what he had to say, and make fun of it. —Thomas Carlyle

Have it your way.
Isaiah 56
10 Israel's watchmen are blind,
they all lack knowledge;
they are all mute dogs,
they cannot bark;
they lie around and dream,
they love to sleep. _________________ Pain is inevitable;

No, I said WE are God.
What's the big mystery here? Jesus said it first.
If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father, for the Father and I are ONE.
Now if you are in Jesus, and Jesus is in the Father , who does that make you? _________________ Pain is inevitable;

That is correct. But legally, an adopted son has the same rights as the rest of the family. Read on......
Romans 8
12Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation—but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it. 13For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live, 14because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.And by him we cry, "Abba, Father." 16The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. 17Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Ok, next question.
You have accepted that He is the Christ, so now what? _________________ Pain is inevitable;
