rom 5:

14Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

The purpose of creation was to magnify Gods saving mercy and grace, through the redemption that is in Cjrist Jesus, all things were created for this purpose..

eph 3:

9And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Not only was The Lord Jesus christ an active particiant in creation, but everything created was for His purpose..

This includes adam, who was afigure of him to come, which was the Lord and Saviour, Jesus christ..

Of Him to come, means that prior to adams creation, there was a determined counsel, that one would come..This one, The Lord Jesus christ..

Now in light of this one to come, adam was created as a figure..

It is only reasonable therefore that God created adam to transgress His Law, because he was a figure of him to come, which was a Saviour, the Saviour who would save His people from their sins..

For people to believe that , sin entering into the world by adam, was a mistake or something God would rather not have happened, sadly miss the point of adams creation as well as the creation of the world..all was created to serve the redemptive plan and wisdom of God, for His chosen people , chosen in christ before the world began..

adam served as a figure of him to come..
