When preaching the true gospel as it is laid down in 1 cor 15:

3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Its important to understand who paul is speaking about when he says our sins..

Paul is referring to a seed as in isa 53:

10Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

This refers back to the first proclamation of the gospel in gen 3:

15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel

Now , Jesus christ is that seed, but his elect members his body, is one with him, because of a union they had with him before the world began..as is expressed in eph 1:

4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Now, clearly, we find that the women [the church typifed by eve] gave birth to the messiah, observe rev 12:

1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.
3And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
4And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. 5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

So we see why Jesus christ is termed the seed of the women, for the church, she brought him forth..

But whats interesting is that theres more in rev 12, to identify further who the seed is, observe:

13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
15And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
16And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. 17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Now, notice it says the dragon was wroth, and what ? went to make war with the remnant of the womens her seed..

Now remeber the seed of the women in gen 3:

15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel

This seed is Jesus christ, so the remnant of her seed is the church, his body, elected in him before the world began..

Jesus christ and His church or deed is one.

heb 2:

11For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
12Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee. 13And again, I will put my trust in him. And

Now, what is also true, is that the devil has a seed, and it is alive and well, and as it is said in rev 12:

13And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

This means satan knows who the seed of the women is, he knows the elect, and seeks to destroy them..observe 1 pet 5:

8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

who is peter speaking to ? The whole world ? No, but the elect of God, the seed, the remnant..

1 pet 1:

1Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Amen, this is the seed, the elect of God..

satan has a seed too..and he and they form the onslaught against the Jesus christ and His seed..the church..

So, therefore, there is no preaching christ, as he died for our sins, without understanding the union of his seed, with him..this union formed by electing grace, even before the world began..

2 tim 1:

9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
