hello, new here

hello all

I'm Paul, i have been brought up in a strict religious environment. I do not want to go into what religion at this stage. I left this in my early twenties (38 now).

My years away from a faith really has seen my life heading in a different direction. I have definately partied too hard and realised about 3 or 4 years ago i need to get my life back on track.

I guess the last six months or so has seen me make some massive changes in my life and i have been exploring of late that spiritual side to me. I am no longer religious but feel a connection with God. I no longer profess to be a Christian, but at the same time i am looking at the bible for answers to my spirituality, if that makes sense? Which is why i guess i am here.

Thanks for the welcome Nobby. There seems to be a lot of interesting people on this site coming from varied backgrounds.
I think it's good to come together to discuss God's word, without the need to discuss it within the confines of an organised religion.
