Joebob.

I'm going to provide one quote from a Trinitarian scholar (named Vitingra) for you to consider concerning Isaiah 9:6. If you would like for me to post additional comments from other Trinitarian scholars I will.

Quote:
Christ may be called the Father of eternity, in being the cause of eternal life to all believers; ...or the Father of perpetuity, because he should be the founder of a new and eternal age.

Why is it necessary to quote from any book other then the Bible. Is it because the Bible doesn't agree with what you and your church believes. That's funny, the Bible is the inspired word of God, the church is not. The Bible distinctly tells us that Yeshua was born to a Hebrew women named Mary. This faith, unlike Christianity is passed down through the mother.
There is no trinity. Yeshua was an Orthodox Jew and it would be blasphemy for Him to teach such a thing. The Hebrew Apostles would not have followed Him at all. In the sermon on the mount Yeshua states emphatically He did not come to abolish the law and the prophets but to fulfull. He also stated that not one part of the law, not one letter shall be done away with untill it all comes true.
This means simply that the Old Testament teachings, and the commandment are still valid. I know these have been twisted around and given another meanings and that certainly is a shame. The only Sacred book Yeshua had was the Hebrew scriptures which are our Old Testament. Think about that, when you read the Old Testament you read the words Yeshua Himself read.
Learn about Judaism, this is the faith of Yeshua. It is not a sin to find out what He believed, even though the church seems to think it is. The Jews did not kill Yeshua, the priests in the temple hated Him because they could see into their hearts and see the double standards and lies they told. Actually the great temple is, to me, very much like the Vatican in Rome.
What would Yeshua tell you? What would He say about this trinity? He's the one that sacrificed His life for us, not some guy trying to make a name for himself by writing a book.

I find the concessions of Trinitarian scholars persuasive.

It sometimes neccesary because lets say you come across something really Hard to understand in the bible. Let say, The two prophets in Revelation. Some people have no clue who these people are. Others, Like myself, find it kinda simple. We write books about interpretations of the bible so that the people that do uderstand can help the people who don't understand even when their not there.

The above quote is true, except the faith is passed down through the son.

Very true, and it all came true (was fulfilled) in Him.

True

Actually Jesus said he was the temple.

I think he would say: God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, for all practical purposes are one and the same, three distinctions for the same Spirit. Persons is a distinction schollars came up with to help us relate to Him, but ironacally only confuses the issue even further, as do most doctrines of men. There is only one Spirit (God) and one person (Jesus) and then there are many persons in whom He dwells (Holy Spirit).
See, clear as mud, right?

Who is a Jew?
A Jew is any person whose mother was a Jew or any person who has gone through the formal process of conversion to Judaism.
above copy pasted from Judaism101 website.
Do Jews believe in trinities. No. Was Jesus a Jew, Yes.
Did He teach a trinity. No.
Jesus said in the Bible, Learn of me!. When are you going to do just that and stop learning from made - made churches.

Rocket,

Don't you believe that Jesus was and still is God?

Ro 2:28 A man is not a Jew if he is only one outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical.
29 No, a man is a Jew if he is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man's praise is not from men, but from God.

Ga 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
