What establishment of religion are you saying is the case here?

Hmmm... you mean you don't know what the First Amendment says Ana? If you did... you wouldn't haven't wrote this.

It says, in its entirety:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances

Where, in this instance, has congress made a law about anything?

Ana.. this pertains to individual liberty. Congress has passed several laws protecting individual liberties. A person is free in this country to exercise their own religion without worrying about reprisals from the government or any other organization... that is just the way things work down south here...

That's fine. What's that to do with Sternberg?

I've explained it... I've cited from the reports - done by two separate independent investigative bodies... and you still want to play ignorant.

If these two reports can't convince you... then Trinity has about a snowballs chance. You don't believe my Government or a congressman... that’s your prerogative. I have cited what they have found and what conclusions they have drawn. If you don't like the results... I’m sorry… but what Sternberg said happened evidently did despite how you want to twist the results.

I don't recall anything where you've said he wasn't able to exercise his religion. The only thing he wasn't supposed to do is publish irrelevant crap in the journal he was editor for. The only way you could possibly construe that as not allowing him to exercise his religion is if you concede that his religion made him do it, in which case especially, it is not unreasonable for his coworkers to guess at that and then try to confirm their guesses. These are scientists - they are inquisitive by nature.

Since it wasn't official, Souder put out his report not as a congressman but as an individual. The OSC only had preliminary findings and didn't bother to do anything official with them once it was established that it was out of their jurisdiction. And the most important thing: if there were anything to Sternberg's claims, it would have been a court case.
