Of course, the right angles chose God and the obtuse angles got confused and went the wrong way.

Yes, at least in the past, the bible suggests that Angels had free will in that they chose to act at variance with the will of God. (Job 4:17-19)

One other point of significance concerning fallen angels is that we should not forget they are creatures of God and deserve respect just as we should not look down upon the lost. Pride comes before the fall!

"My answer is no"! The angels are servents of God. He commands them, they do not have free will!
I believe this can me found several places in the Bible. But read the first Chapter of Hebrews.
Just a few verses from Contemporary Eng. V.;
Heb. 1:6
When God brings His first-born Son into the world, He commands all of His angels to worship Him.
Heb. 1:14
Angels are merely spirits sent to serve people who are going to be saved.

How could satan have fallen, I know he wanted to be like God, but how did he get free will?

Acts 17:30-31

"God commands all men everywhere to repent ..." But they don't.

I think Angels at least did have free will. Satan a good example plus it would seem a third of the 'heavenly' host followed him (Rev 12).
