composer,

You proved alot of negative things about yourself, but nothing about JW's. Your conclusions are based on some ridiculous twist of your mind.

Why would I respond to your silly thoughts and redundant ridicule? You aren't even trying to be serious. Rolling Eyes

Composer & Tbax,

Other than potentially believing that Jesus is/was Michael, what really is the difference between Jehovah's Witnesses and Christadelphians?

Well towshab, as with TBax who hasn't supported one thing legitimately, how about presenting what you believe and let us all examine it?

It's all really simple.

State your case and your Biblical, archeological evidence to complement if available etc. and that's it.

If it is truth then it will stand as it is.

If it isn't like TBax's, it crumbles.

Haughty individualls with lousy comprehention come to the conclusions like composer did. He didn't prove his point, I simply don't explain things to him because of his inability to comprehend and his ridiculous responces.

composer keeps pushing it even though he has been proven wrong with thing's he said yet refuses to aknowledge his mistakes. Any reasonable person can see this, yet he cannot. He baselessly keeps saying he has proved something when all he has proved is he is not someone I will explain things to. Next, he reads scriptures and jumps to ridiculously wrong conclusions about what I believe. He doesn't try to be serious. He just want to keep saying he is right. Embarassed

composer isn't necessarily a Christadelphian. Although he believes many things they do, like they don't believe in wicked spirits, or that certain angels sinned. He also believes Jesus was sinnful and deserved to die. I don't believe that is a Christadelphian teaching.

Very Happy

lone traveler,

Hi, Very Happy

The dove was the Holy Spirit. Very Happy

John's baptism for the Jews was to symbolize their repentance over their sins against the Law, which was to lead them to Christ.

Since Jesus was sinnless his baptism must have meant something different.

When Jesus was baptized, Jesus was presenting himself to his Father Jehovah to do his Father’s “will” with reference to the offering of his own “prepared” body and with regard to doing away with animal sacrifices that were offered according to the Law.

The Father’s will for Jesus also involved activity in connection with the Kingdom, and for this service too Jesus presented himself. After Jesus' baptism he began his ministry ending with his sacrifice.

John wasn't baptized with either Holy Spirit or fire. John died before Jesus, therefore wasn't annointed with Holy Spirit. That is why Jesus said: Matt 11:11 Truly I say to YOU people, Among those born of women there has not been raised up a greater than John the Baptist; but a person that is a lesser one in the kingdom of the heavens is greater than he is.

Very Happy

Judging by our track record here, you don't have any authority at all to label anything I do silly.

Yes. And the same is true with Jesus and his audience.
Circular reasoning for one, and the idea of "the Devil" spawned around that time as a result of pagan influences anyway.

I am not supprised you don't get it. And you won't until you stop worshiping yourself.
If you're going to use John 8:44 as a justification of a connection between the serpent and Satan, you're going to have to drop any idea of Satan as a fallen angel with it.

This stance is ridiculous and backwards. You don't explain because he can't comprehend? How do you know if he can't comprehend if you haven't explained yet?

All it does is demonstrate that you're unable to back up your assertions yet unwilling to reveal it.

TBax wrote:

How can he have been proven wrong when you haven't explained anything yet?

Which is retarded. Why would you withhold explanation from anybody?

Wrong again TBax.

You know little that is credible and what you do say is invariably either wrong, misleading and Scripturally inept or a combination of those fallacious elements.

And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. (John 1:32) KJV

NB: . . . LIKE A DOVE . . . The Holy Spirit wasn't a literal dove.

Throw your Watchtowers and NWT in the recycle bin and read the King James Bible, or almost any Bible version but the corrupt NIV or the corrupt NWT where your inept leaders get their false guidance from their 'J.W god / editor in chief no less'.

Michael ISN'T Christ
Michael is the Pope
Oops!
Michael IS Christ

Then

'IS THERE REALLY A DEVIL?' - Dated Sept 1st. 2001) also present to us further absolutely false and thus misleading information. How?

They write: "the Devil . . . . lied to Adam and Eve. (p. 6)

a) There is no mention of 'a devil' in the Genesis narrative. b) The Serpent creature spoke to Eve not Adam.

Now

The Holy Spirit IS a literal Dove that flew down from God's Heavenly domain says TBax?

Here's what the J.W's Old Greek to English NT Interliear also confirms-

And bore testimony John, saying: That I saw the spirit coming down like a dove out of heaven, and it abode on him. (EMPHATIC Diaglott Original Greek NT Text Interlinear 'Word for Word' (LHS) (My Bold))

The J.W's dumped the Emphatic Diaglott after about a 100 years or so of using it, because it became an embarassment to many of their New back-flipped ideologies or them wanting to corruptly reinforce old ones. e.g replacing ADVERSARY with Satan to give a corrupt psychological impetus to their misguided beliefs in literal fallen heavenly angel spirit beings.

"It matters not whether he proclaims his message with deliberate, willful and malicious intent to deceive, or whether he is the blinded and deluded dupe of Satan and hence unwittingly used of him. In either case, he is a false prophet and hence the agent of Satan". (The Watchtower of 5/15/30, p 154) (In this case, wicked and corrupt J.W. men)

TBax wrote:

Heb. 7:27 KJV disagrees.

True that Jesus DID NO SINS (1 Pet. 2:22) KJV but he was born with the propensity / potential to sin that ALL men inherit from Adam's disobedience -

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: {for that: or, in whom} (cf. Acts 2:22 ; Rom. 5:12) KJV

Thank you

Actually they are probably responsible for many spiritual deaths' leading to eternal death, because the misleading and false 100% back-flip doctrines of the J.W's would have put off many a person from turning to God's forgiveness through Christ.

My Post above gives a few of their mistruths and Scriptual misleading and corrupt 100% back-flip teachings.

Cheers!

You come in at the tail end and assume you know what has transpired???

I can easily give you examples of his lack of comprehention. Or if you prefer his ridiculous responces. His making a concrete and literal interpretation of what I said about the dove is 1 small example. He does this constantly.

The same reason I don't discuss scripture with you. Because you pop up here after a long time doesn't mean I don't remember your unreasonableness. You haven't changed. Crying or Very sad

Ecc 8:8 [There is] no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither [hath he] power in the day of death: and [there is] no discharge in [that] war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

Mar 12:36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

What connection are you making here?
The Holy Spirit inspired David to prophesy redarding Jesus sitting on God's right hand. When men come against God's people Jesus, or Michael stands up in their behalf. That scripture in Dan 12:1 has it's antitypical fulfillment during the great tribulation. Very Happy

Plus, "the great prince" corresponds with Jesus being "the prince of peace".
