Following the example of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro, live as long as you can, so your despotism can perpetuate for years to come.

Isn't there a reason God shortened our lives from 900 years to 120 years maximum? Oh, yes! It was an act of mercy so that one would not have to pay for centuries of sin....just decades.

Maybe Pat Robertson was on to something...a single assassin's bullet might make the world a better place.

Or not. #Sniper

though i don't agree with everything he has done or the way he has done some of the things he has done...as far as leadership goes...and integrity...as of right now...

he is one of the best leaders in the world at the present moment in those two catagories...imo....

he may mess that up tomorrow...but right now...he is doing a splendid job for the most part...imo...

Honest people might disagree about how great this man is, but he is taking his country from a democracy into a dictatorship.

i understand your concern 45...but if one looks at what needs to be done in that nation, it is not a work that can be accomplished by changing the gov every four or six years....

it is really a society of seperate classes...

take the milk situation for example....in the article it speaks of people complain because they can't get fresh milk....wel the reason they can't is because hugo put a price cap on it...so in response the dairy guys just quit producing it if they can't squeeze every penny they can from those who can afford it...

which will, when the situation gets rip enough, result in the state siezing control of the industry...

to many that sounds bad...but it is not...for then the end result will be...

for the first time in many of their lives...the poor children of the country will be able to drink fresh milk, and it won't be a privilege for the upper class only...

what is so bad about that?...

Squeezing every penny? Apparently you never took a course on economics, but price controls are like throwing a wrench in the system of supply and demand, and greed has nothing to do with this. Apparently you are reading a very circumscribed article....not the least bit objective.

yes greed has nothing to do with why hugo stopped the gred ...you are correct in that...the reason supply stopped is because they wanted to charge more then he would allow...

socialism is by far the best form of human gov...when properly balanced...

Whether calling him a Red Commie or just simply a Socialist, both amount to the same. He promotes a system that has murdered millions, oppressed those who survived and kept them in abject poverty; all the while clinging to the oft uttered myth of communism working if only administered right.

There is no right way to administer a system that takes people's freedom and forces them into a controlled system "for their own good." To do that is evil, and those why tyrannize people will be cast alive into the eternal lake of fire where they will feel the undiluted wrath of God for ever and ever. Amen.

sheesh... Rolling Eyes ...it is not an evil system...it is only people who pervert it that make it evil...

there have been capitalist systems that have murdered people you know and has cast many into poverty, you are not saying that is evil...

and i said socialism is the best form of human gov when balanced properly(and i mean that) and no i am not supporting it because i don't support any worldly system if by support one means wishing for one...nor does being a socialist get one thrown into the lake of fire for crying out loud...man...please... Laughing Laughing (though the greed of capitalism might get one fried Wink )

ps...thanks nobby... Very Happy
