Biblical attitude toward human government is relevent, at least outside the JW organization.....

Yes Dust, we are subject to these superior authorities. Obeying human rulers and being a human ruler, or attempting to install one are two different things.
We apply that scripture as God allows these governments to exist for a time.  We obey the laws and pay our taxes. They do serve a purpose for a measure of order. Just because God allows them doesn't mean God endorses them as he is going to destroy them.  God is also allowing Satan and his demons to exist now and excercise rulership, but that doesn't mean we should embrace them.

The JW's are not the only ones who do not vote, I can name a few dozen Christian group that do not vote or get involved in politics.
Simply put, True Christians are not part of this world, I have one leader and that is Christ Jesus.

I'm considering not voting this year. We have, IMHO, a slim and undesirable selection to choose from.
Can we do a write-in vote for Jesus?

I think the Amish probably don't vote. What other groups do you know that don't vote?

2. Christadelphians
3. Churchs of God (Several hundred offshoots of Herbert W. Armstrong)
4. Sacred Name Groups (Several hundred groups who believe God's true name is Yahweh, e.g. Assemblies of Yahweh, etc.)
