Still you say that christians came up with that?
Hellenized Jews adopted it from other dualistic religions, Christianity adopted it from both.

the term christian means Christ-like. Those verses I just showed you tell us that Jesus is speaking with Satan. Jesus audibly spoke to him. How can you still say that he is made up by christians?
Who wrote down the gospels?

But it makes no difference to me. What matters is that the truth is being banned. You banned Holyghostpower, when he told you the same things I said. Not a coincidence at all. Change my wording around, make up more nonsense, insult me. The truth still stands.
Ben,
Please take an honest look at yourself. The feeling of vindication that comes with seeking to be a martyr is a cheap thrill, a temporary high that is a poor substitute for a well adjusted sense of self worth. It becomes an addiction.

I wouldnt know why you are unable to log in. But know that while many may disagree with you, especially if you cannot provide scriptural support for your ideas, no one is interested in persecuting you or anyone else. No one is interested in suppressing the truth, or anyone's pet teachings either.

May I suggest you pause, take stock, self-evaluate, and find out if the problem isn't within rather than with us.

I read to about half way through page 3.. And got bored! Are you going to do much else other than argue??

All I want to add is that you ask:
'Are People in this Forum afraid of the Truth?'
Maybe people are, but thats because there is no proof of anything other than what is written in a book, regardless of whether you have read it or not, where you began, where you ended, it's all just words.. There is no proof... No affence, but whose to say that the bible (and other religious books) arn't just bed time fairytales?

The truth of the Bible will NEVER be popular !
The Bible says so, (Matthew 7:13,14)

Yes, SS,

"The UnPopular Truth of Love for all
versus
the Popular Error of Hate for any."

"For 'tis a sign of Love; and Love to Richard
Is a strange [UNPOPULAR] brooch in this [POPULAR] all-Hating world."
Richard II
[V, 5]

Titus 3:
3For we ourselves also were sometimes
foolish, disobedient, deceived,
serving divers lusts and pleasures,
living in malice and envy,
hateful, and hating one another.

4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

with Unpopular Love for all,
and with Popular Hate for none,

I think this is a great thread.

I don't know details on boots, but can tell you that aside from straight out spammers - boots happen because people are attacking members, ironically usually because people come on here to tell everyone "the way it is".

It happens because it's a theology board. So I guess my question to members is: How do you deal with multiple members that come here convinced they are on a mission from God - yet these members have opposing views?

What we try to do is let everyone voice their opinions as long as they don't attack members personally, or "ad hominem" attacks.

Nobby and Rev run things around here. They have different views from me - case in point: We work together for the whole of the board, not to push our individual views.

My original intent in opening this board was to provide a place for discussion - not to make people believe this or that.

If members feel they have been "done wrong" they can PM me with details. Sometimes Nobby, Rev and I have discussions where we see things differently and talking about it works things out. Sometimes I see it exactly the way they do.

Nobby and Rev actually have a better feel for the community here than I do. I just pay the bills and pop on every once in a while.

Hope that helps a bit.

In a couple days my new home will be several thousand miles away. Too bad we didn't meet in person.
