I understand completely. I have lived in four different countries over the years and spent cumulatively many months in another. (The US -- I have never lived there but have spent many vacations and visits to relatives and work related trips there in the last forty years.) The one constant I have observed in all the countries I know well is that people love their country and can tell you what they think is great about it. Good for them. Love is God's gift also in whatever form it comes.

it is a cool place....one of my favorite places...but the gov. is broken...other than that...it is great!!!... Very Happy

I'd love to visit Cuba. Haven't had the chance yet.

My favorite country to visit: Greece

My favorite big city: Istanbul, Turkey

My favorite town: Bath, England.

i've een to turkey a couple times...it is ok...

my favorite country:already told you Wink ..cuba..though there are a couple of other islands that give it a good run for the money...so to speak....and i have always had a good time in france whenever i went, but everything smells like...urine..imo...

my favorite little city:believe it or not is right here in the usa..st augustine, fl.(it is a great little city)...

my favorite big city: i have to think on that one... Very Happy

I've was in St Augustine a couple of years ago. Great fun. It is a lovely little town.

Paris has never had the attraction for me that it has had for some. The Eiffel tower is too touristy for me but I like the cafes.

My preference in France is for a city like Toulouse where you can reflect on the Cathars and troubadours of times long gone.
