I understand completely. I have lived in four different countries over the years and spent cumulatively many months in another. (The US -- I have never lived there but have spent many vacations and visits to relatives and work related trips there in the last forty years.) The one constant I have observed in all the countries I know well is that people love their country and can tell you what they think is great about it. Good for them. Love is God's gift also in whatever form it comes. _________________ One would never discover the limits of soul, should one traverse every road -- so deep a measure does it possess.

Not just your opinion, my friend! Someone else thought so, too. _________________ Truth doesn't care about theology, and theology doesn't care about truth. |

Paris has never had the attraction for me that it has had for some. The Eiffel tower is too touristy for me but I like the cafes.
My preference in France is for a city like Toulouse where you can reflect on the Cathars and troubadours of times long gone. _________________ One would never discover the limits of soul, should one traverse every road -- so deep a measure does it possess.
