Hello Abdelaleem, I'm new also, and just wanted to greet you. I do not agree with you on most points, but that does not mean we cannot be friends. I am Apostolic Pentecostal, and I believe that Jesus is god. There are no other Gods. In my beliefs, Allah does not exist, and Mohammed is no one. In this I have shown that you and I are different. But regardless of who we believe God is, He loves us all equally. I ask that you all remember that. God loves you and I, and Abdelaleem the same. I must say Abdel, and I hope that you don't mind me saying your name that way, as it is easier for me, I am looking forward to learning more about your faith. I hope that I can help you to learn about mine as well. God bless you!

It seems that this thread has gone far beyond a simple hello. But hello anyway, Abdelaleem. It is nice to "meet" you. In my belief system Allah and God are just two words from different languages for the same deity, however understood.

Let me just clarify, I did not recognize JC in muslims! Far from it. I would like to know what part of that verse you are referring to. Those 10 verses mention a good side, and a bad side. Which side are you referring to?

God Bless you!

Nice to meet you Plotinus. You're absolutely right . Allah is in Arabic means God. In the Arabic translation of Gospels Arabic Christians uses the Word Allah as a translation of Elohim or Jahwa or any reference to God.
Please not also that Elohim is very near to Allah because the Hebrew is very near to Arabic

Hi BC!

The good side: 35-40:

By seeing Abdel as a brother you love,
you are also seeing
JC as him and in him,
and
Abdel in and as JC
and seeing JC as and in the least of these.

But based on what you now also wrote above:
'I did not recognize JC in muslims! Far from it.',
you can also include the bad side: 42-45:

By not seeing or recognising JC as or in muslims, you are not loving JC as 'the least of these' if you don't love the least of these or muslims.

Questions for you:

Do you love JC as an hungry man?

Do you lvoe JC as a thirsty man?

Do you love JC as a strange man and as a stranger?
[Wd you recognize JC in a stranger? Heb 13:1-3]

Do you love JC as naked?

Do you love JC as sick?

Do you love JC as a prison inmate or criminal or on death row or prisoner or jailbird?

Do you love JC as a Muslim?

Do you love JC as a Catholic?

Do you love JC as a Jew?

Do you love JC as the least of these?

All your answers shd be Yes.
For a ref, see Romans 8:35-39.

Deeper questions wd be:

Do you love yourself as all of the above?

Do you love yourself as unjust and as bad as God loves you as per Matthew 5:45?

Do you love yourself as muslim?

What words don't you love yourself as?
[Those are the same words you wd not love JC as.]
As ref, please see 1 John 4:19.

with unconditional Love and Respect for JC as BC and for BC as JC,
atoz

I agree. I have a valued copy of Pickthall's interpretation of the Koran in my possession. I love it -- except for the fact that he chose not to translate the Arabic word Allah. It makes it look like a different god from Elohim (which of course it isn't).

Thank you Atoz. I stand corrected. I am sorry, when I said far from it, I was thinking you were saying I believed Jesus was Muslem. I ask forgiveness from everyone. My mistake. As Jesus loves the muslim, the catholic, the Jew, and the criminal behind prison walls, so do I also strive to love them as Jesus does.

God Bless you!

Wow: Wonder of Wonders!
Who are you---really?smile

Dear Ben!

God is surely in you!
I knew it from Hello: your first Hello to Abdelaleem!smile
You are a credit to your church and religion, a light of Love in the world and the salt of Love that seasons all men and seasons
Matthew 5:
13Ye are the salt of the earth: ....

14Ye are the light of the world. ......

Any praise I give to you is understated---as it also applies to God.

There are rare people who cd have said what you said in your first post to Abdelaleem:

"Hello Abdelaleem, I'm new also, and just wanted to greet you. I do not agree with you on most points, but that does not mean we cannot be friends. I am Apostolic Pentecostal, and I believe that Jesus is god. ......
In this I have shown that you and I are different.
But regardless of who we believe God is, He loves us all equally.
I ask that you all remember that.
God loves you and I, and Abdelaleem the same.

I must say Abdel, ...., I am looking forward to learning more about your faith. I hope that I can help you to learn about mine as well. God bless you!":

and as few who cd say what you just said again!

What you said in your first post cd only have been said because God was already talking to you before you ever talked to me: as JC told Peter, it cd only have been revealed to you by God!
Matthew 16:17And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona:
for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee,
but my Father which is in heaven.

And then to correct yourself and to go on and go further as per your 2nd post to me just proves again that the Spirit of God is in you and you are full of the spirit of God as per 1 John 4:16 and Matthew 12:34-37!
1 John 4:
16And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.
God is love;
and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Matthew 12:
34 ... for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: .....

37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, ......

Plus,
only a wise man loves correction so that he can be self-correcting, correct when wrrong, and doubly correct when correct:
correct and correct in Love.
Proverbs 12
1Whoso loveth instruction[correction] loveth knowledge:
but
he that hateth reproof is brutish.

What more can I say?
A word to the wise is enough!
May you continue to allow God to fill you and so to fill yourself with more and more Love to spread that message of the Kingdom of Love to one and all, especially to those who are NOT Xtians as per Matthew 5:43-48.

Hey, thanx for being here!
I thank God in Love for sending you here!
You are another very big encouragement to me from God!
I sincerley hope these few words motivate you and encourage you as much as and even more than your supernatural and spiritual words were encouraging to me!
Please feel free to correct me at any time!

with all of the Love by which we love ourselves as correct and so love being corrected,
and so are always correct even when wrong,
and so are doubly correct when correct, 2 Cor 12:9-10,
atoz

Atoz, I feel the presence of the Lord at this moment, while I am typing these words to you. I want to share with you short version of my testimony. You see I grew up in a minister's family, my grandfather being my pastor for many, many years. I have been instructed in the ways of salvation, and how to live after you receive it. One thing I was always taught is to love thy neighbor as thyself, if not more so. For many years, I did not live as I had been instructed. I believed that I could find happiness in the world. To make a long story short, I came out of the world, realizing that there is nothing for me there. I just recently came back to the Lord, being refilled with the Holy Ghost, which I have mentioned before as being necessary for salvation. I could be compared to the prodigal son. I was lost, but now I'm found. Praise God! With God now residing in my spirit, and going with me where I go, I find it much easier to love as he loves, because he is in me. Many are lost, and I am saddened by that. God let me go for twenty years, and when I came back, with a sincere heart, he welcomed me with open arms back into his kingdom. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Jesus, for your mercy! I hope that you can get something positive from this, as I feel God is in it somehow. God bless you!

Smile

Ben,

Thanx for sharing your testimony!
I feel God's presence too in all your words!
When Love is you, God is present in you: He is you!!
No wonder:
as the Prodigal Son [PS],
you are so in Love and so you are God,
and
you are so full of Love, God is so in you, and He is you!
Sigh,
it just gets better!

Someone wrote recently about why the Internt is so good: we get to only look at and hear the words and not at how the person speaking those words looks!
Your words are imbued with positive Love, the Holy Spirit of God!

Then, grandchildren are like grand-parents: so Hi Grand-dad!smile

Who are you mamed after?
Your grand-dad?

Your name is Ben: short for benjamin: Judges 20:15-16, 1 Chron 12:2, 38: Benjaminites are ambi-dextrous people: very accurate with both the left and right hand since they are physically in their right minds:so with Love, you must be doubly in your right mind: in your right mind and in Love!smile

God Bless you, Ben!
Thank God for your granddad and dad!
I got everything positive from every word you wrote!

With the Word Love that loves all words and so sees God in all words and sees all words in God, John 1:1,
atoz
