I agree with you Ben,
I don't believe any subject is limited anywhere in the bible..LOL..
the more you look for answers the more questions come up..and then it becomes an absolute wonderful treasure hunt... 
I have to get my pick and axe and start diggin deeper for more answers to more questions..and it can be endless..
and fun..
I'm heading home for a few days...YEAH!!!
however most of my time will be used for working on the truck, BOOOO!!!
it's been giving us trouble lately and we have to get into the engine and find the problems so we can get the answers..and fix it...UUGHHH..
so if I'm not around as much the next 3-4 days..
you know why..
But as soon as we get back on the road...and the connections are working properly.. 
we can go on a treasure hunt and check out all the tongues ..there's forked tongues and tongues of fire, and soft spoken tongues...
All kinds of tongues...
So COOL!

Good Question.
God has a gift of tongues....the true gift.
And here is how it works........
Acts 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
2:7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
Here is the Key verse: 2:8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born ?
It is an understood language.
If I went to Japan, and I could not speak japanese, and God wanted me to cummunicate with some about the Gospel.
He would give me the gift of tongues, to be able to communicate with that person.
BUT, if I'm in the USA, in a church where they already speak the same language as me....there is no need for the gift of tongues. |

1 cor 14:1-3 tells us the only person tongues communicates with is GOD...
acts 2 says nothing about htem talking to the people...jus the people heard them...
if one reads the story...they were speaking in tongues before any man was around to undestand them...that alone is enough to show they were not speaking to men... |
