God has done what He has always done....withdrawn His protective care over those who rebel, ignore... what HE says to do.

The nation of Israel went into captivity, every time they went against God's will.

Whenever a people leave God, to do their own thing....God let's them go.

And, they suffer the results of leaving God's protective care...to fall under satan's power.
