I was just talking to the wife about these threads. She got quite a kick out of it. She wanted to know what Gods word says when it means to be baptised in WATER...does it say 'baptised in fruit juice' or something
The meaning being how far are we going to go with this metaphorical/allegorical nonsense?
Cant we take even a single word from scripture as meaning EXACTLY what it says ?
I dont know about the rest of you, but Ill keep teaching that believers in Jesus Christ are to be baptised in WATER where they are physically able to do so

ah, yeah....this will be my last post on baptism here.
One side wants to completely remove it from the church even tho it is instructed and the other side makes it so absolutely required that only by written permission of God Himself can the physically handicapped get out of being baptised for fear of going to hell
