Seriously though...
even if some of you don't believe in the bible and prophecy and stuff, you have to admit things are getting somewhat out of hand on all fronts..

weather, war, famine, diseases....

I agree that it's getting out of hand, and it's going to get a whole lot worse before it gets any better.

If you really care, then vote for someone who actually wants to fix things. Or even better, go out and do something yourself!

Goodmorning P123, Very Happy

and I know that what I'm about to say is "unrealistic"...
however,
The only way the whole world will be "saved" (for lack of a better term) from destroying ourselves, is to find a way to come together in peace and work it out together.
Maybe things have to get sooo bad before people realize that their bank accounts and their fame isn't going to get them out of being fried by the sun or being flooded by the oceans rising.
What is happening though, is that those who should be trying to promote peace so that we can all figure this out together, are the same ones who are causing the most conflict.
And this "flaw" is in our very nature. They say we have "x" amount of generations before this thing really starts knocking things off at a drastic rate. We aught to take the time we have left, put away our weapons (everyone, everywhere), and start teaching our kids peace and not war.
It begins in the sandbox.
When it comes right down to it...it's not about us. We'll all be dead and gone and would have left all of this mess to the next generation.
How can you convince enemies to lay down their swords for the fate of the world?
And the truth is...it's all about what we say and what we do.
And I say we...I mean the human race.

Maybe, (and I speak as a fool), maybe man created God so that we wouldn't come to this. Why do we set over us Kings and Presidents and Prime Ministers, and Lawyers, and Judges...?
Is it not to keep some form of rule so that we don't get out of hand..
Like the children creating their own parents because even children realize that discipline is needed.

The bible says..If your right hand offends thee cut it off...
And if both sides are offended, and enemies are locked in battle face to face, and we both cut off eachothers right hands....
we have no hands to work with...for good or evil.

Maybe that's what armegheddon is all about?
We're not going to learn in time...Catasrophe is going to hit...
The sun is going to burn us up and we will be flooded with the oceans. And some will escape..even maybe 8 or 2. There has to be at least 1 male and 1 female to carry on...

And then we're right back at the garden where we began.. Confused or disgusted

no matter what though....there's always hope.. Wink

Keep smilin P123,
Hugs
Lone

You know that great city Babylon that gets destroyed in the book of revelation?.....it's the world as we know it... Confused or disgusted

Yes, exactly. I completely agree with your idea, but the fact of the matter is that there seems to be less than zero political will to try to make the world a better place. The people in power aren't even trying.

In fact, if you look at the evidence objectively, the only conclusion you could possibly come to is that the most powerful people on the planet are actively trying to DESTROY civilization and the environment.

There are very easy things which EVERYONE can do. For example:

1. Follow the four Rs: reduce, reuse, repair, and recycle. Don't ever throw out any paper or bottles / cans.

2. Buy long-lasting light bulbs. They'll even save you money!!!

3. Turn off lights and other power-eaters when you're not using them. For example, do you leave your computer on, or do you hibernate it?

4. Only vote for politicians who care about the environment.

There are plenty more where that came from. Probably the most important thing to do is to spend some time thinking about all the ways in which you personally have a negative impact on the world, and then try to change as many of them as possible. You don't need my list of things to do; make your own!
