Eze 3:1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
Eze 3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat [it]; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
Eze 3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Eze 14:3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

Eze 21:19 Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose [it] at the head of the way to the city.
Eze 21:28 And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword [is] drawn: for the slaughter [it is] furbished, to consume because of the glittering:
Eze 22:2 Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.
Eze 24:25 Also, thou son of man, [shall it] not [be] in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
Eze 27:2 Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;
Eze 33:7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.
Eze 33:10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins [be] upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
Eze 33:12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his [righteousness] in the day that he sinneth.
Eze 33:30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.
Eze 36:1 Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:
Eze 37:9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
Eze 37:16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:
Eze 38:14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know [it]?
Eze 39:1 Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I [am] against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
Eze 39:17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, [even] a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.
Eze 43:10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
Dan 8:17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end [shall be] the vision.
Hbr 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? _________________ Joh 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Son of man refers to the GOD-PROPHET, the Lord Jesus Christ
son of man refers to the prophetic ministry operating through a man whom God has chosen, Jeremiah, Elijah, Ezekiel, etc
There is a major difference in that the capital Son refers to Christ, Jesus, but it is the same anointing of prophecy which operates through others
A gift of prophecy in the church must be tested according to the Word, as there are many false prophets, false anointed ones
Rev.19:10, "...for the testimony of Jesus is the SPIRIT of prophecy" so everything must be tested against the Word, not signs, blood dripping from hands, weeping statues, etc., etc., all tricks of the devil to deceive his children |

Hello John,
as I was looking through the verses it seemed to me as if the Son of Man refered to the Spirit of Christ and the son of man refered to the man of flesh Jesus...
I see two entities...one that came in the flesh and one that came in the spirit. Both existing at the same time in the same body. Yet one perished and one did not.
Rev.19:10, "...for the testimony of Jesus is the SPIRIT of prophecy
I see this to.
this verse here:
Psa 146:3 Put not your trust in princes, [nor] in the son of man, in whom [there is] no help.
When I see Jesus I do not see a man of flesh. I see the Spirit of God within him. I see the movements and I hear the words but I don't see the physical person. I see God's power shadowing the space that the body of Jesus occupies...
there is a verse here:
Jhn 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.
This tells me that the flesh and blood has nothing to do with life. That it is the words that he speaks which are spirit and it is the spirit that quickens us to life.
but then there is this:
Jhn 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
so then the flesh and blood are his words..he's saying eat my words.
now not too long ago there was a discussion going on about eating things that defile the body. And it's not what goes into a man that defiles him but what comes out from his heart.
eat my words for they are spirit and they are life they are my flesh and blood. you eat my words then you are eating my spirit....
and like I always say...you are what you eat....
you eat flesh and blood then you are flesh and blood, and flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Eat my words they are spirit and it is by spirit that we enter into the kingdom.
Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

God bless you Lone
Thank you for that thought provoking discourse
What you say, the way you describe what you see in the SON of man, the Lord Jesus Christ is spot on
Though, in the case of His flesh, we can look to it with confidence as in Him was no sin
He avoided the curse put on Adam and Eve in the beginning, Jesus being a Spoken Word creation in Mary's womb; that's what seperates us from Him and through Him, GOD
In my flesh there dwelleth NO GOOD thing
You will notice that the term "son of man" is applied most commonly to Ezekiel and the Lord Jesus, as His was also a prophetic ministry, and possibly with Jeremiah
It describes the MINISTRY that operates through the vessel of clay, it does NOT in anyway make the man himself anything other than a sinner saved by God's grace, except in Jesus' case
It is the Spirit of Christ, which is the Spirit of prophecy which is operating through a vessel anointed for that role
We need clarify that this 'anointing' can fall on any person
It was on Caiaphas, Baal, the 400 prophets who stood against Elijah, it operates today in many places
Black magicians, sorcerers can impersonate prophetic ministry, as we see from many fortune tellers who prove to have an uncanny ability to predict future events, but they are not interested in God's Word and are doing so for personal gain
All have marked failure rates also which immediately disqualifies them from being of GOD. Deut. 18:22
We do NOT believe a prophet unless he passes the WORD test
Everything he says must be 100% Bible
If even one word off, he is from the enemy
Where the current scourge of 'prophets and prophetesses' comes from is the demonic attempts to get God's children off the WAY, to trick and deceive them
It is possible for a sincere Christian to manifest the GIFT of prophecy but that does NOT make them a Word prophet, and they could be spot on with their prophecy, they are still NOT prophets
You get any of these so called prophets, and though they may be correct in various areas, take them back to the Word and see how well they can keep things together
The flesh we are in profiteth nothing, being made of ground cursed by GOD in Gen.3:17, so all of us are made out of cursed material to start with
That explains why we have so much trouble with it
As Paul said "in my flesh there dwelleth no good thing"
False prophets can be quite accurate, but NEVER 100%
God only vindicates HIS prophet
God instructs us to put His words in our mouth, we are judged according to our words; and to walk in the LIGHT as He is in the Light, and He instructs us continually to get our eyes off the flesh and ON TO HIM
As long as we let Satan keep us trapped in this flesh or thoughts and responsibilities toward it, we are missing the purpose of the Good News
Eating the flesh of man is referring to the BREAD that came down out of Heaven, it is a type instructing us to consume HIM, and HE is the WORD
The r.c.'s still believe they have the power to turn their filth, rat nibbled wafer the moon goddess, into the physical body of Christ
On that basis every r.c. is a cannibal
Amen bro., really enjoy your thoughts and love of the LORD
John
Yes, eat His Words, they are LIFE, not our works, our perverse thoughts and interpretations, His Word is Spirit |

I have read several post, and each carry elements of wisdom and truth, at least from where I sit.
the topic here is likewise most interesting worthwile for study, and yu all are so well behaved too!
I have an older Authorized King James Bible passed down now for sevewral generations, it was published and distributed in 1902...it is old.
Showing all the former verses prior to the revison which took place in 1881 AD by Vatican mandates. (from what I can gather or make of it), the former verses are whatever was seen just prior to 1881 AD although this by no means rules out even earlier revisions (translations etc) which were not shown as they were not that which was the most recent FORMER translation ie verses used JUST PRIOR to 1881 AD....
In the old Bible for example....
It sepaks of Adam...contrary to what theologoians now teach based on later "translations ie revisons" the older text of over 104 years of age shows something else.
It states that when the flesh dies it returns to the earth (just as we see when abel was slain for example, his flesh returned to earth) it continues to state, that when Adam died his flesh as does all man's flesh, returned to the earth, but that his spirit resurrected to heaven with God, the scriptures then goes on to say "that this is the resurrection".
Thus this seems to fit many entries in scriptures where we see onw is quickened (as in the spirit) "up" to heaven where God "is".
I can only presume that the Vatican saw fit to remove such verses through "corrections ie revisons" because the Vatican wanted, and still does teach that one can only go up to God through her Queen Of Heaven whom offers man redemption, she being as the Poipe's claims the true mediator of God and Jesus....thus only through the papacy can one attain the graces of the good queen mother...clearly having scriptures which show that Adam was forgiven by God and was brought up to heaven in the spirit when his flesh died, was not complimentary to the gospels as taught by Vatican Rome.
The bread of LIFE...is the wisdom ie truth ie word of LIFE and God "is" Life.
Even Manna seems to symbolize the bread of LIFE, we as is shown I think by Jesus, even as Jesus was and is also the Manna sent by God ...he being as it were our Bread.
The Bible throughout forbides human sacrifices and blood drinking no doubt, I think few can deny this truth...so it seems very reasonable to look for another understaninding in regard to eating the bread as like eating the flesh and drinking the wine as like drinking the blood.
Every good grape harvest produces goodly wine ie juice of the grape, the longer it has ages the better it is, so is this too reflected in older scriptures, in as much as it is the older wine which is the best wine..this being akin to doctrines of man, the new is the strange and the old is the truth kind of thing....
And in older scriptures for example, the table of God's word is set with bread and with wine of the grape harvest....among other holy things.
The table likewise being that which holds all the treasures of God...from which we sup at.
And in old Proverbs it is sad that the Harlot set the table with her own furnishings to entice the peoples from the path they were on to come into her house, whereby they did eat and drink of the flesh and of the blood of their own brethren, never knowing what they doing....they left the way/path that they were on.
And God warned the Harlot not to change one thing of his Holy word, and in Revelations we see that despite these warnings she did not repent of her ways....and thus just as Babylons Kingdom was warned so was she, yet just like Belshazzar she heeded that warning not, the hand writting of God is in his Holy Book, and she believeth it not to this day...her days are therefore numbered according to the appointed time....then there shall be time no more.
Anyway...I particulary liked this bit of posting....Thank you for sharing it with us.
RECAP:
Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
.......
As in to: Eat my words (for) they are (the) spirit/WISDOM of God and it is by way of the spirit/WISDOM of God that we enter into the kingdom.
For the dead are breathLESS.
But the spirit liveth for the breath of God abideth in them.
PS nice to visit here, May Wisdom abound, multiplying in fruitfulness.

hello LivingStones,
very nice to have you here...
I was looking at this verse:
Luk 11:30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be **to this generation**.
notice it says to "this generation"? are we still "that" generation.....??
I don't think so..a generation is what 70-120 years..?
And in this time Jesus appeared to Paul..
As lightning from the east to the west..?
I think Son of Man refers to the Spirit of Prophecy, and son of man is the mouth in which it speaks through.
Paul saw the Spirit not the flesh and blood. He saw the sword and not the mouth..so to speak..(no pun intended LOL)...
hat was the sign for that generation, and an evil and adulterous generation seeketh a sign...they got their sign. The sign of Jonah.
Are we still seeking a sign? because signs are for those who don't believe aren't they?
what is our sign that we can recognize eachother by? is it not the fruit of the Spirit...?
I believe when we die the "son of man" dies. And the "Son of Man" that is God's Spirit in us returns to Him who gave it.
It also says all former things will not be remembered...so will we know?
To Day....it's here and now. This is life eternal...to know God.
Knowing God is eternal life.
And we bypass this treasure by looking for crowns and robes and kingdoms, when we already have EVERYTHING right now...
I like to ramble a lot LivingStones..LOL..don't mind me...
Nice to meet you
God Bless

God bless you Lone
Just read your post and I have a question for you
Do you think that the generation Jesus was referring to is the one that sees Israel become a nation?
It is part of the seperation that witnesses in Lk.11:32 of a generation that rises up in judgement of THIS generation and condemn it
Possibly you could provide some history of where that event took place?
Otherwise we may consider it refers to the generation which sees Israel back in their land, surrounded by her enemies
Mat.8:29 also suggests a future time, not then
Son of man describes the prophetic ministry, surely, and the prophetic ministry, (not a gift of prophecy), is GOD speaking through a chosen vessel to His children, and the world. {see Deut.18; Amos 3:7; Mal.4:5-6}
There is oft a failure of students to seperate God's dealings with Israel from those with the Gentiles; we are under different covenants
Fruits of the Spirit are what caught the Gentiles short; they worshipped the gift and turned away from the GIVER
The Son of man is only applicable when seen in context with an appointed MINISTRY, it has nothing to do with the church as an whole
In the CHURCH we may witness a gift of prophecy, but this is extremely rare, and must be Biblically vindicated
The sign we were told is used to identify other Christians is the LOVE we have one for another.1 Jn.3:11-14 and many other Scriptures
No, Christians today are NOT looking for any signs, we have the WORD as It is revealed, in It's fullness, which no previous age experienced
Signs are the goal of those who have rejected Christ and gone after Lucifer's lie
If the Son of man dies when a Christian dies we are, like the r.c.'s, putting Him to death continually and that is a lie
Yes Lone, we have our robe of righteousness, It is HIM, we have our Kingdom, it is HIS, and none get our crowns 'til after the White throne judgement, as I understand it
We already 'have' these things but we do not receive them in this body, but in our new one

I believe Jesus was speaking of that day..the generation he was walking in. And who rose up against Israel to defeat it? wasn't it the gentiles?
Like...the gentiles are Michael coming to fight the beast which had drowned itself in so much gobly g.o.o.k...traditions and ordinances..lalala..
This is my take on the entire bible John...
In the beginning God shows us the absolute BIG picture of truth.
as the bible proceeds through the books, that very first BIG picture, gets broken down into details. As each book comes more details of that original BIG picture are displayed. All the way to the Gospels, where once again we have the BIG BANG..that is God creating the heavens and the earth while he was walking here on earth, that is "us in Him and Him in us".
As we progress to the epistles..the details start flowing again until we come to revelation. Which is a total culmination of all those things that are written from Genesis to Revelation.
The whole book revolves around and around...history repeating itself over and over...
In the beginning is Adam and Eve...this is Christ and the Church...
only it's physical in Genesis and Spiritual in the Gospel.
Same story just a different view. The rapture is no different than that of Noah, the destruction of the beast in revelation is no different than Sodom and Gomorah. And you can see both physical and spiritual aspects of the whole story taking place in the Gospels. It's the division of flesh and spirit coming together. It's the firmament between the sky above and the earth below.
And within this BIG picture are a whole lot of smaller pictures taking snap shots and showing us what happened in the past, what was happening at the time, and what will happen in the future. But the future will always be there, just like..today is tomorrows yesterday.
Have you ever read the bible backwards? What I mean is start at revelation and read down to Genesis. Time moves curiously.
Jesus says..as the days of Noe were, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. That means you have to look behind you to see what is before you. While your looking back you can see that those things happening today are the same things happening back then, and they will be the same happening tomorrow. God never changes. All the answers are in the very first line of the bible...In the beginning. You don't need to look any further, everything is right there. But God in his infinate wisdom knew that that would not satisfy man. We are a hungry lot and we sure do like to eat. So he took this one line and expanded it just like the heavens and time....always travelling upwards and outwards...so cool. And in the book of revelation all things become small again all down to one line.
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
and there is a new heaven and a new earth created in revelation, this in my opinion is Genesis 1:1.
John you wrote:
| Quote: | | We already 'have' these things but we do not receive them in this body, but in our new one |
Our new body is already made, always was, always will be. It is Christ, it is truth, it is light, it is God. If we take hold of that then there is no need for anything more.
He is the head, we are the body...Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
You can't sit or stand if you haven't got a body can you? We are already there, it just hasn't manifested itself yet in "our eyes". We need to "see" it to believe it. But God "knows" it. And all we need do is believe in Him.
What is it you want? What can possibly make living anymore full than being a part of everything that God has created?
A crown? we are His crown. A white robe? He is our robe of righteousness.
You want to be able to judge? God is judge and much better at it than me, and if I judge than I too am judged...better to leave the judging to the one best suited for it.
Gold? it will perish. Riches? There are no riches worth more than knowing God himself.
What are we looking for..what "rewards" are we seeking?
I tell you what I would like for a reward....just to be accepted as a good and faithful servant....nothing more.
You can have my crown, I'd rather just sit in awe and watch him work.
You have to be careful about what it is we are hoping for...
I'm not looking for any glory...I want to give all glory to God.
It's his anyways...
Well that's my take about how the whole world turns John...No new thing under the sun. Maybe the names and places have been changed but the story is the same story from beginning to beginning.
When the whole world believes in God and we all have come in the unity of faith, then this is the next move:
Job 38:4 ¶ Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
Job 38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
Job 38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
watch:
Rev 21:1 ¶ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God.
Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
And God created the Man Adam and put him in the garden of Eden. And told him you can eat of any tree but one.
and time goes on...because God never stops creating..thats what he does and who he is...the creator who creates life.
And we become Adam, which is the Church unto a perfect man of perfect stature and enter into the Kingdom of God...
and then the book begins again....and we are with Him alway....
You can walk around the world from one end to the other or you can walk back and forth and up and down in it. The word of God is unlimited...
I'm not a traditional kind of person...I enjoy seeking God's treasure and His Book is loaded with precious wisdom and gems and stones and lots of food for the hungry and manifold riches for the poor...
Maybe not in your pocket, but in the heart where it counts..
So what we recieve we give because that's what God does. Only first he gives and then we receive, but what it is we recieve we aught to give back.
So if I recive a crown or robe or whatever than I will give it to someone else, because that's the way God is...always giving...and I want to be like Him...
God Bless John

the SON OF MAN is LORD of the sabbath...and lone speaks well...JESUS declared...
jn6:62-63 what if ye shall see the SON OF MAN ascend up to where HE was before? it is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT and they are life. |

gots a question....
Who's sabbath is it?
God's or Man's?
God Bless
Lone | Why, of course....its the Lord's Day !
Christ, as God, has laid claim to it, as HIS !Exodus 20:8-11.....Isaiah 58:13,14.......Ezekiel 20:12,20......Mark 2:28.....ect.....ect......
Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
HMM....the sabbath was made 'for' man, yet man, rejects God's gift....Interesting ? _________________ Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. |
