ISI... I love history (it was my major)... especially Civil War History. Thanks for the Cite... 
But this is not what I was referring too when I asked for a citation. You asserted that the reason we are in Iraq is for their oil. I would like you to provide a citation demonstrating the veracity of your argument. I strongly disagree with it and am challenging your assertion... it is simply wrong. |

I think our ability to get creative when pursuing war is great enough without having to imply some alterier motivation.... like oil.
I think we ought to bomb France because the make lousy cars, they smell funny, and the speak like... thier French or something.  Doesn't mean it is going to happen, however, if I explained this well enough to people, I'd betcha there'd be a few takers to fly a route downtown Leon, Macon, or Paris. |
